I went to check in the hotel for my "DELUXE DOUBLE" room type. But what I got was a basement room below the street level which was absolutely different from the picture on Agoda. It was the no number room which you need to walked down the stair from the lobby level.. no air to breath. We tried to look for the window but outside was like a messy storage room with gabage and smoke from a flue. This is not the room that I booked for. The staff was not helpful and nothing they can do..only the option to stay or leave. I decided to leave and look for the other hotel instead.

I stayed in the single room which is perfect for solo travellers on the go. Space was newly renovated (compare to old neighbourhood). Toilet was very clean and bed was comfortable. Location is very convenient and close to city center/ tourist sites, yet it’s very quite at night for good sleeps. Very friendly staff, too. Only downside is that the room is very small, which is not a problem for me coz I’m by myself and I mainly use this location for sleeping at night only.

예전 영국사람들은 어디서 살았을까를 생각해볼 수 있게 하는 숙소였습니다. 바로 근처에 지하철 역이 있는 것은 아니지만 그렇게 불편한 위치까지는 아니었습니다. 다만, 큰 캐리어를 갖고 다니는 장기여행객 혹은 여자 여행객은 불편할 수도 있는게, 이게 건물 자체(외관)는 오래된 곳이라 통로가 좁고 다 계단이에요. 저는 다행히 짐이 원체 없는 사람이기도 하고 날씨가 더울 때도 아니고 해서 그게 문제는 되지 않았지만.. 좋은 점은 크게 세 가지 정도 있을 것 같고.. 우선, 직원이 캐주얼하게 친절한? Friendly하다고 표현하는게 가장 맞을 것 같습니다. 그리고, 내부가 좁긴 하지만 되게 cozy하고 인터넷 진짜 잘되구요. 다만, 오래 머문다고 하기에는 햇빛이 거의 들어오지 않아서.. 공간 활용을 극대화한 복층 구조의 유니크한.. 그런 느낌 하루 이틀 느끼고 가는게 제일 추천드리는 방식입니다.
