The rooms shown in pictures and the one kept there were different. If you want to stay you have to ask only for 2nd floor or 1st floor rooms if one wants a decent stay. Otherwise ground floor rooms are old stinking and no aeration.

It is a small but good hotel with very supportive staff. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Food items in the complimentary breakfast are very limited. Good location. You can feel clouds coming to your balconies. If someone travels by car, drivers can stay free in the hotel. But don't expect it to be a like a hotel in big cities. Cherrapunjee is an isolated tourist spot. One can very well stay in the hotel for few nights. One can also party in the evening . Hotel will arrange a bonfire for you for Rs. 500 extra.
