Central, Convenient and Posh”
Very close to central locations. I would walk to Shepard's Bush Station which has the central lines and the main outskirt lines. The studio is perfect for business and single travelers. If you are looking for a peaceful and catered to type of stay, this is not for you. For me, it was perfect and they cleaned my studio everyday with fresh towels, a true plus! I definitely stay here again :-)

Everything was great apart from the staff who mixed up my booking when checking in and checking out. My name was on another client's check in sheet with a copy of their passport. It was settled in the end but it was a rather unpleasant experience.

Room was compact. Kitchenette really only functional for tea/coffee and toast perhaps. Tea/coffee and biscuits supplied were lovely. Bathroom spotless with sturdy fixtures. Powerful easy to use shower. Reception staff very friendly. Used secure luggage room. Handy access to Kensington high street and shepherds Bush. Well stocked Fresh go across the road. London bikes very close and great for commute into parks and the city. Would use again.

Enjoyable stay”
Our stay started not so well and was not the fault of 88 studios but we booked through an online site which requested the wrong room type. Anyway we went into the smaller room which for four people was tight. However the room was clean, tidy, and in a great location. Loved the kitchenette. The staff are lovely. Just check your room allocation when you book.

Clean rooms on the roof top”
Booked a room for 4 adults. Got a room on the roof top. Clean and well kept. Expect loud traffic noise. Overground Kensington Olympia is very near to hotel. (Platform3). But take at least 20mins walk to Shepherd Bush Underground. Do not mind coming back for the same room if were to visit London again.

The hotel was nice enough for the price, but did have some downsides. The second building which makes up the hotel is across a sometimes very busy road with no nearby crosswalk. So if you have any issues, you have to run across this street to talk to the desk (there are no phones in the rooms). Twice we were given dirty towels when our room was cleaned. Once the water was turned off for hours in the afternoon. Apparently it was planned maintenance that they did not bother to warn the guests about. The bed was poor quality and the individual springs in the mattress could be felt.

Rude Staff”
We had a triple room for myself and my 2 friends. Our room was scorching hot from the outset but we thought it would cool down. We headed straight out and came back late, the room was still boiling. We tried to get to sleep and had to ring the front desk at 4:30am as we couldn’t sleep in the 28 deg heat due to the mis functioning air con. The staff member said they weren’t an engineer and there was nothing they could do. We insisted they came to the room to investigate. The staff member arrived, reiterating he wasn’t an engineer and shrugged, “what do you want me to do about it?” in a rude tone. His attitude stunk. Over and over he said it wasn’t his fault and what did we want him to do. We said we didn’t care who’s fault it was, we just want it fixed. We asked to move rooms and there weren’t any to accommodate. The staff member clearly knew nothing about customer service and actually made us feel worse. There is no way I’d recommend this hotel if this is how they deal with a problem.

Need better cleaning service”
I find the room not that clean. It was dusty and more cleaning is required. We put up the 'cleaning service' label on the door - yes they made up the bed but the kitchenette was untouched, it was not cleaned at all, was hoping for clean room after a long day out.

uninterested in customer service”
Booked 2 rooms for 2 separate blocks of time. On arrival asked for both bookings to be in same building said 2nd bookings were one each side of road so asked if we could send email requesting same side as it was in 8 days time, they never responded so emailed again they said they received & would put note on booking. So on arrival of 2nd booking we were oposite sides of street & explained that one booking was a disabled son & mother needed assistance hence our request. No go we are full & no other rooms well see tomorrow but there just not interested. Then gave us wrong rooms so had to go back across rd with large luggage again not interested.

Beware of this hotel! When I make a booking with agoda.com and have already paid for the room.then when i check in time the hotel reception say the hotel had only been paid yet.so they ask for another payment if you want to stay.so after I found that the agoda payment had been made to the hotel.this mean that I have paid double. then ask to refund the second payment back. They refuse to pay me back. Say that I have make some behaviour so will not paying me back for the reason. (Not recomanded)

Complete disgrace & no customer service.”
Mice & dirt under bed. When offer to send 3 photos of mice and 1 of dirt there were not interested at all. Asked politely to change room but inexperienced receptionists responded: you have to send email to manager. Faceless manager! never showed up. Booking confirmation at 88 Studios, at 88 Holland Rd. but send you across to another premises. Where on earth is this legal? Receptionists are itinerant whom tell you: doing the job for the money & that is what you get by booking with Agoda. 73 years old with 3 other people, have traveled around but never experienced such treatment & disgusting premises. We request Agoda to give us an email address for MSTAY organization. Agoda is getting bad reputation by offering such an establishment and we feel we should have some form of compensation, just alone to the fact being sent to another address. Booked 6 months in advance & could not accommodate simple request: 1 double & 1 twin room. Prepared to send you photos if you required.

Staff try to be helpful however management overrule & do not want to come forward untill they want to be agressive & threaten to call police & block room entrance. Booked @ 88 but send across busy main rd to number 83?

This is a wonderful location. I’ve stayed here during three different trips to London and I will definitely stay here next time. Double studio with kitchenette. Very close to the Kensington/Olympia station. Wonderful staff! Clean and cozy!

Relaxed Stay”
We enjoyed our stay at 88 Studios due to the friendly efficient staff. The room was small for placement of more than one suitcase, though manageable. The room was attended to daily. A short walk to bus stops, a little longer to Earl’s Court Station.
