"Overall I was disappointed with my experience of the hotel. Whilst I was only there for one night, and therefore had booked the cheapest possible single room, the standard of the room was such that I would only be expecting to pay £60 for a comparable room if I was in a city centre. It was clean but extremely spartan, and the whole room is in need of a refresh. The corridors are dark and feel dingy. Sound-proofing not good either. I also asked for an alarm call at 6.30; I didn't receive it until 6.55. "

"We stayed one night on a bed & breakfast basis. The lodge is located on the golf course with a wondefull view over the Firth of Forth. The accomadation was first class, very clean and comfortable large room. The room had all the facilities I would expect in a 4/5 star hotel. We had an evening meal as well as breakfast during our stay, the food was excellent very tasty, well presented and served piping hot. Overall I was very impressed with the lodge, the value for money, the determination of all staff to make us feel very welcome. I would recomend this venue and wil most certainly be paying another visit. Thank You "
