Alarm problem solved”
Woken on the first night by a beeping fire alarm (a status beep not an alarm beep). Hotel is not attended to overnight so could not do anthing about it. However they did sort it out the next day.

Abingdon Lodge”
Self catering room in an ok location but from the pier it’s a very steep hill to walk. Easy reach of high street and shops. The hotel had friendly staff but unfortunately the cleanliness had a lot to be desired for. The room like the rest of the hotel was very dirty and I had to hover the room myself. I found a dirty sock in the room from a previous guest and the top of the curtains were very dusty. The bed was squeaky and the room faced a busy road. It really made me appreciate my own home.
