Professional service and great location”
We had a great stay at Acacia Tree Garden Hotel. The place has a warm and relaxed atmosphere and I would not hesitate to give this as my first recommendation for anyone going to Puerto Princesa. Great location - it's not even 5 minutes away from the airport and from the city center. With regards to food, we never had one single food letdown moment in Puerto Princesa and the food in the hotel restaurant is no exception! We had two meals there on top of the breakfast and they were all superb. The honey pork ribs is a must try! Do take note though that at times only one chef is available and the delivery of the indiviual dishes do get staggered a lot which could prevent you from enjoying your meal at the same time. What I want to highlight the most though is the excellent and professional service the staff provides. One of our companions in the trip had severe nausea and vomitting and had to stay back one day. He got so sick to the point that he had to be delivered to the hopsital which the staff promptly did for free. We had regular updates from the staff on the status of our companion while we were away and they made sure that someone from the hotel was with our companion the whole time! When we came back to the hospital they also personally brought us back and forth from the hospital. I don't think that one can expect such warm, personalised but professional service even from the major hotel chains nowadays!

To those who are planning to spend their vacation in Puerto Princesa, I highly recommend Acacia Tree Garden Hotel. All the staff, manager and their tour operators are very accommodating, friendly and helpful. They didn't give us a hard time when we were asking for favors. The place is really clean from the outside to the bedrooms. Their family room is huge. Kids can freely move and play inside. The swimming pool is also clean and huge. They serve healthy breakfast and meals. Quality service at it's best! Gorgeous Hotel in a beautiful setting”
Once I entered the gate of the Acacia Tree Garden Hotel I felt I was in paradise. With greenery everywhere and a pool that is the ideal temperature for swimming, is reinforced with an attentive staff and breakfast buffet that can satisfy most eaters. The room was very confortable and one can easily obtain a tricycle driver to take you into the city, if one desires. One does not need to worry about safey since Puerto Princesa is very safe, but there is an armed guard at the gate for those who need the extra feeling of protection.

We had an enjoyable stay at Acacia Tree Garden Hotel. We wanted to stay in a hotel that's near the airport and with a pool since most hotels with access to the beach are very far. They upgraded us to suite, which was very generous of them. We were able to check in prior to the standard time. The room is big, clean and well air-conditioned. I have to commend the staff for their excellent service. They made our stay very convenient. They booked our tours, reminded us of our call times, made sure we have our breakfasts ready, ordered our food when we wanted one to be delivered, and offered transportation to the airport even if we didn't ask. Minor comments: Blanket is thin, no comforter, shower has no heater, very few breakfast selection. It was raining when we stayed here so we felt cold :)) Overall, I'd stay here again and recommend this hotel to our friends.

Charm and beauty”
When you arrive it's a shock. You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. But you soon discover Palawan township is only minutes away. Such is the secluded and relaxing ambience of this charming and beautiful (especially with the lights on at night ) single story hotel, nestled under a huge acacia tree. The spacious rooms are mostly around the ample pool which ajoins the recreation area and restaurant. There is a small pool for toddlers/children.The breakfast is a simple but adequate buffet with add ons available. The other meals are very good and reasonably priced. The serving time is slow but we weren't in any hurry. Billiards,darts,table soccer etc all available. The hotel is small and quiet. I loved it and would be happy just to spend a few days without going anywhere. But lots to see in Palawan. The wifi is free and excellent. Would happy stay there again.

This place is a genuine treasure. A beautifully designed, caringly maintained hide-away hotel which is far superior to any other in this price band in Puerto Princesa. And the staff and management are SUPERB - friendly, professional, well-trained - the service here is genuinely world-class, making it such a special place. Here we were truly guests - never just customers and the warmth and atmosphere of Acacia Tree is enchanting.

Exceptional”
Acacia Tree Garden is a gem! I love how large the room was and a stone throw away from the pool. You also have a little patio and a space for hanging your clothes up to dry. The bath was good, hot water is always available. Although it would be great if they had better toiletries. They have an in house restaurant so you wouldnt have to go out. The fries, onion rings and shakes were a hit with my kid. The staff were all friendly and accomodating, always ready to smile and greet you happily. They also have hassle free and affordable tours that we took advantage of. If you dont like their food at the resto, you can have whichever fastfood chain deliver your chow to you. The only downside was the location was tucked inside a baranggay and not in the town proper BUT still you can have them call you a tryc if you’d like to go out. Airport transfers are complimentary so that’s a plus but its scheduled so if its other than the times posted, you’d have to pay 300php for it. Overall, Id come back to this hotel in a heartbeat. Amazing place for a vacation. My family loved it!

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff”
We booked our room at Acacia after reading the other reviews and browsing the website and weren't disappointed. The hotel is only a few minutes away from the airport and the the shuttle service was convenient, although an extra 300 pesos (tricycle driver offered to do the same trip for 30 pesos). When we arrived at the hotel the staff was welcoming and check in was easy. Our flight arrived quite early, but we were allowed to check in early without charge. The room was large, spacious and well-designed. The bathroom was also top quality and every inch was clean and sparkling when we got there. It's obvious the management here does an excellent job and the ground are meticulously maintained as is the pool. The tropical garden setting erases any thoughts about being close to the airport and is far enough from the city center to avoid the noise, but still a short ride to restaurants and nightlife. The highlight was certainly the attentive and ultra friendly staff, who did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The only downside of this hotel, as others have mentioned, is the restaurant. Although breakfast is included, you'd be wise to take a short ride to a cafe or restaurant for a decent meal. In the end, we would certainly return when we're in Palawan again next.

Great stay”
We had a great stay in Acacia tree. Hotel is not big but has a great atmo. All rooms are around nice pool in the garden whis is really great. Rooms are clean and have good internet connection. Restaurant has good choice of food with good prices. Stuff is very attentive and helpfull. Even it is a bit far from the city or the main road it is easy to take a tricykle. We rented a bike and were quite independant. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends. Great stay. Thank you Acacia Tree.

Quite a good experience for a cheap hotel”
One of the reasons why I enjoyed my trip is because of our hotel. Strategically located near their airport, Acacia Tree Hotel is a treasure in the sea of cheap hotels in the city of Palawan. I enjoyed the over-all homy, tropical look and feel of it, which is exactly what I needed. Security-wise, it was okay as well. But what really stood out for me is the superb hospitality their staff showed to us. It’s warm, always welcoming, and very friendly. Plus points for the simple buffet breakfast. 😃

Fab hotel to stay”
We had a pleasant stay in this hotel. Staff were all very nice. We were served welcome drinks upon arrival. While waiting, there are games that you can play like billiards, darts,etc. Also, the people in the reception were very helpful in arranging our tours. They also provided us a van to bring us back to the airport. I would highly recommend Acacia Tree Garden Hotel.

Nice hotel but quite far from the city proper”
'twas actually my first time in Palawan and I could say that the whole experience was superb. Of course the adventure includes city tour, Honda bay island hopping and tour to the Subterranean River National Park or famously known as Underground River in Puerto Princesa. The trip was even more amazing when we stayed @ Acacia Tree Garden Hotel. The cleanliness and serenity of the place gave us the total package of relaxation and a dream come true vacation.

Hidden Gem”
Wow, what a great hotel. About 5 min from the airport and 10 mins from the nightlife Acacia Tree is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the hotel. The rooms are great...., big, clean, and comfortable. The resort itself is quite small with no more than 20 rooms but it is perfect. A great swimming pool and restaurant. It is so laid back and relaxing there. We missed our flight and ended up staying here for the day and it truly was one of our best hotel stays.......again, great pool and restaurant. I will be back for sure, such a nice boutique hotel.

An excellent weekend hotel!”
I stayed here for 2 nights with my Dad who came to visit me in Manila where I'm working for a few months. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how good this hotel was. The food was excellent, and encouraged us to eat there each night. The pool table and table football were an excellent addition, and the pool was great! It has a great vibe, isn't too busy and is truly a garden hotel, complete with pretty lights in the undercover restaurant and trees in the evening. I have recommended this to work friends and would stay there again. If you're in Palawan you MUST visit the subterranean river too. The hotel can sort that for you too!

Family getaway”
I stayed with my parents at Acacia Tree Garden Hotel last Aug and we all enjoyed our stay. We arrived early and we were accommodated for an early an check-in. THe place is cozy with its Mediterrenean-inspired villas. We stayed in the Family room which was on the 2nd floor. I suggest that they also put Family rooms in the ground for senior citizen parents:) The room was large and cozy. The receptionist was able to help me book a half day city tour when we got there and we were pleased with the tour guide she provided us. The Underground City TOur package with the hotel is also commendable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends!

Affordable yet Amazing Hotel”
Last 18 August 2018, one of the staffs at the front desk of Acacia Garden Hotel called me to confirm the special arrangement for airport pick up that we requested since our flight was supposed to arrive at 0615H/19 August 2018 and their regular shuttle service to/from the airport is at 8 in the morning. We were at the airport around 3 in the morning for our flight that was scheduled to depart at 5 a.m., unfortunately the flight got cancelled, so I called the Front Desk (24 hour open) to inform them that we will not arrive PPS til 1130 a.m., the staff named Philip was very accommodating and thoughtful and emphatic, he even asked us if we were ok since our flight was cancelled. The driver was already waiting for us with a signage at the arrival area. It only took us around 10-15 mins to the Hotel from the Airport. Upon arrival at the hotel, they gave us welcome drinks (which I really liked since it was brewed the same day) and let us check-in an hour earlier.

We stay in this place for the trip ending in Palawan and mostly, to just recover, rest and be near the airport. The staff is friendly and if you're lucky, there are even some of them that do the extra effort to make your stay more pleasant, like arranging the baby crib in room and take care of baby while you eat and so on. Place got a bar/therasse by the pool and a few buildings with rooms arranged in a tree garden. Only problem there may be mosquito. They are present because of water and tree combination... The place makes up for it with the staff and options they offer.
