Clearly, this is one of the best pet-friendly resorts! If you need a quiet time, secured accommodation, relaxing view, and a place where your pets can be free and play around, this is the resort for you. However, the wifi is a little poor in the area but it really didn't matter. I love the welcome drinks, the food service and drinks. I would definitely go back and recommend them to friends and family.

The place is accessible. All the staff is very courteous, kind and accommodating. We love their pet accommodation service, that's the very reason why we chose this resort for our first out-of-town travel this time pandemic. The room is very clean and the food is very good. We will surely go back to AquaVerde.

One of the best resorts in Laiya”
We couldnt stop raving about our stay in Acuaverde! It's definitely one of the nicest in Laiya and we'll go back for sure! Amenities and rooms - gorgeous! Gives you that tropical island feels! Beach - nice fine sand and clear water Food- everything was so good! Staff and Service - The staff members where so friendly and accommodating which we really appreciated. Our stay in Acuaverde was indeed a wonderful experience!

Very pricey, rooms not clean with a weird smell , lots of dirt under the bed. Bathroom not clean, shower is very weak. Would not recommend this. Hope there will be other resorts who are pet frinedly other than acuaverde.

My Perfect Escape ”
Left a positive feedback at their FB page while on stay, this Beach Resort will now be my favorite along San Juan Laiya Stretch! First of all checking in was hassle free! Staffs Smiling and assisting with your things, parking was spacious, room was clean and smells good, beach was clean! Resort surroundings are clean! The resort offers a variety of peaceful spots where you can enjoy the company of your Pets too, pet friendly resort. The Food was Great! Was served fresh and very hot! Kudos to the chef that serves delicious menu buffet style from Breakfast, lunch and Dinner I really got full every meal. I love it when they serve the foot steaming hot and in variety of meat of choices, salads and snacks. I like it when everything is within walkable feature, the Food, the beach, your room, the best way to relax. Cabanas placed in front of the beach is a plus to me! You can simple read a book or play games on your gadgets and watch the 30mins bonfire at 8pm. Staffs are smiling! This is the key feature of seeing yourself very welcome on this resort, when you call for assistance the staff comes in a flash unlike other resorts! Good Job acuaverde good job Manager and ofcourse super clear water on the beach I liked it that its not much harming to the skin specially along 4pm swim. Sports activities is a much! I can’t wait to come back and book here again with a family next time and my pets. This resort is better for me than Virgin Beach resort I am not transferring my weekend haven here. Thanks staffs my stay here is peacefully fun and for a first time stay, its love at first stay and so fourth!

Loved the food and the resort's pet-friendliness!”
We knew we were paying for full board and lodging, but we didn't know we were getting excellent buffet style meals throughout our stay!! Food, service, place, my husband and I loved everything. The cherry on top was the resort's accommodation to pets! Acuaverde is possibly the only truly pet-friendly resort in Laiya (at least when I did my research). They allow your dogs or cats practically anywhere in the resort—including the room! While they charge P800 per night per pet on top of your accommodation costs, I thought this seemed fair considering that pets can make a mess (fur can be especially hard to clean up). We also really appreciated the loot bag with pet goodies. Really, really good job, Acuaverde! Hope more resorts and hotels will be as accommodating as you towards our furbabies. �

Pet Friendly Resort”
We had a great time staying in Acuaverde Beach Resort. We enjoyed the private beach and the ambiance of the resort. The staff are friendly and very accommodating and helpful. The resort is a pet friendly, my puf likes to walk at the beach and enjoyed his birthday treat. We would definitely go back to this place with our dog. We like the size of the room, its big, our puf keeps on running and running inside. However, the room needs to more improvement : clean the room properly prior to the next guest check-in,wall repainting and the bed should be replace to a new one as the string is already lose, also the bedsheet. We suggest to put a chair inside the room atleast one or two to make it more comforatble. The bathroom was nice too but needs to replace the curtain to a glass door or slyding glass to make it more updated. The food served during breakfast, lunch and diner were acceptable but needs a little improvement.The fishes and vegetable dishes were very good.

Two and a half hours from Manila is Laiya, Aplaya, Batangas where there are a number of resorts & hotels catering to both domestic and foreign tourists. Acuaverde Resort is a two star hotel (per a plaque on the front desk) which can easily be a 3. Rooms are adequate, not small not big, just right with individual balcony/veranda. Buffet meals are OK, nothing spectacular. Staff are efficient, friendly. Negatives: there is no segregation of no smoking & smoking rooms so guests next door may be smoking in their balconies. Also, pets are allowed, again no segregation of guests with pets. No phone to contact front desk or friends in other rooms. Instead , a call button is installed & response is pretty fast. Recommended

We had a great time staying in Acuaverde Beach Resort. We enjoyed the private beach and the ambiance of the resort. The staff are commendable. They are very accommodating and helpful, especially the staff at the restaurant. Another thing that we liked about the resort is it is pet-friendly. We would definitely go back to this place with our dog. Buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner were already included so we did not have to go out to eat. The food choices and the taste could be improved, though. The only problem that we had during our stay was the A/C in the room. The temperature cannot be adjusted and it was really cold. We had to open the door from time to time in order to make the temperature in the room more comfortable.

Cozy Hotel with Courteous Staff”
I went to AcuaVerde for a relaxing weekend. I fell in love with the place because of its cozy feel which was exactly what I was looking for when I booked a hotel in Laiya. I've been to other hotels in the area. I'd say that this is my favorite. I was traveling with a friend and got the smallest room facing the amenities. It was just right for us. I'm actually thinking of booking a larger room with family soon. The staff was very nice. They were always happy to attend to our needs. There was a huge group on our last day which was the downside of my stay. They had activities and ruined the calm atmosphere at the beach. Other than that, i'd recommend this place to anyone who will be traveling to Laiya.

One with nature….quiet…relaxing…”
A very good place to get away from it all…even just for an overnight…that was my goal for this season. And there, I found the garden relaxing. Greeted by the warm welcome of their friendly staff, I was offered their refreshing Tamarind drink, as they checked me in without much hassle. Casa Marina would be perfect for 2-3 people, with Casa Brisa for a bigger group. The rooms are just the right size made perfect by its veranda, creating a nice and relaxing sitting area. The nice breeze as you dine al fresco creates an even more relaxing ambience and their food….very acceptable. The bar area has a variety of choices from cocktails to fruit shakes --- and yes…they know how to mix drinks. As you savor the nice breeze sipping your cocktail by the beach on one of the lounge chairs, you cannot help but say to yourself….yes…THIS is relaxation. The only downside? The resort does not have a pool for pool lovers. Then again…who needs a pool with the pristine waters of Laiya? The nice clean beach area makes up for the lack of pool. They even have a Lifeguard who gently advises you not to go swimming after 5pm due to the possibility of sea urchins and jellyfish. But personally, I just transferred to a different spot a few meters away and enjoyed the late afternoon swim without any hassle. Rarely do I pick a resort that does not have a pool and this one was not by choice but only because everywhere else, it was fully booked. Then again, I'm glad I did as I would not have known the existence of this place and probably would not have enjoyed my stay at any other resort Quiet…relaxing…good spot…good food….good drinks…good price --- they even have a playground and handicapped accessibility! Life is good. I cannot complain. Recommended for couples and families who want a more relaxing ambiance. LOVE the place!

Stayed here with my husband and our 2 yr old son. we only booked for an overnight stay, we wish we could have stayed much longer. What i love about acuaverde , is 1. Customer service: the friendliness of the staff, they give so much attention to their guests' needs, it definitely exceeded my expectation. 2. Facilities: The resort is a child friendly resort, they had a play ground for kids to play. The water was very clear and the shoreline clean. 3. Beach: The sand is not powdery white like those of boracay, but it's ok with us. Our son enjoyed playing on the sand and swimming. 4. Room: We got to check in an hour earlier, kudos to this part also, because our son was already restless and tired, so thankful to the staffs that they were able to clean our room so fast. Our room was casa marina queen on the 1st floor, it is clean, crisp sheets, with an ocean view. everything was perfect. I think they only have to improve on the food Selection. the food was not all bad, it was filling, but i hope they can add some more variety, for example some pasta, different fruits (we had watermelon and pineapple for 3 meals), some pastries or other desserts, 2-3 kinds of meat dishes. Hope to improve on this part, Since they are a 5 star hotel as they claim to be. Though the place Wher they serve the buffet meals was really nice, with an ocean view, very breezy, food servers were also very attentive. Overall we had a great time and we would definitely come back again.

Quiet, relaxing beach resort for couples.”
Acuaverde is an excellent resort for couples looking for a short, quiet stay at stay on the beach. We stayed in a Casa Marina queen. The rooms are basic but comfortable, clean, and in excellent condition. Air conditioning and hot showers. The staff is superb, and the food is excellent. While we were there, it was early week so there were only a few guests. As such, the food was served by course, and it was very good. For breakfast we had a choice of american or pilipino fare. This was included in the room rate. For activities, there is of course the beach, which has great views of the surrounding mountains that reach the waters edge. Be prepared to wear sandals if you are goimg to walk very far though, as the sand is more coarse than other beaches - but still sand! Shells and coral fragments were plentiful. The water was cool but not cold, although the angle of the beach gets steep at the waters edge. Waves were relaxed. We didnt try the boats or Jet Skis. There is no pool, which we knew about in advance and didnt miss. Lastly, there is a bar cabama area thats open til Midnight that carries all the basics and local beers. Dont expect karaokee, they like to keep it peaceful. They did have some games like darts, foosball, pimg pong, etc. and kept music playing at a low level.
