Best place for a gateway with peaceful ”
The place is great Green and the staff are doing more then they can do, they are doing tha extra mile to make us in my case my family of 9 people and a stay of upto 5 days, I would like to thank all tha staff i dealt with during my stay with tha family!!! i can only remember Mr Ajay name if i spell his name correctly (he and his team were there to serve and help me, my family and other guests i met at the resort at anytime during our stay at anytime) I would appreciate if tha management can increase the number of staff who are doing and providing the service but i i want to see more new faces work in tha hotel.... COVID 19 is not an excuse dear management.... thank you again all the staff that i saw from reception to room service, house keeping and maintenance team thanks for solving the Air condition problem within minutes at 11pm. Well done and great job Al-Nahdha staff, all though i can see that less then 10 staff are running the entire resort.

An Affordable Resort in Muscat”
We stayed only 1 night. The environment was good. Dinner is costly. Breakfast is good and can be booked earlier. It is surrounded by trees and that makes it refreshing.

Large Open spaces but mediocre facilities”
We had gone to Al Nahda resort for a one night stay during the oman national day holidays. The check in took a good 40 mins and one could easily make out that they had not planned adequately for the holiday rush. While the resort itself is spread over a vast area, it hardly has any facilities especially for young children. They have swimming pool (no towels when we went in the morning) and cycles . The rooms itself were barely maintained. We had two rooms booked and faced a range of issues including TVs not working, geyser issue, telephone not working etc. While the dining area was spaced out well, they were not serving food in the rooms. This was especially concerning considering that few ppl would prefer to have food in their room considering the risk with many ppl in the buffet area. My inference is that they dint have enough staff to service all the guest. To top it, the buffer was priced exhobirantly and was not at all value for money. All and all, not a very good experience. I hope they make better use of the huge property which they have and put it to good use and maintain it well.

This is a Resort with only geenary. The swimming pool was not maintained, breakfast has very limited options and there is nothing to do in the evening. The whole resort is very dark after evening with very limited lights and food in awful. They have upgrade me with good amount of extra money for which I didn't get any receipt after repeated asking. The only receipt I got is from my booking agent before upgrade. So, not sure why they were not willing to give the receipt.

This WAS a huge stunning resort, but now looks abandoned. No one of the 3 restaurants is working. It is imposdible to find a restaurant in all the area. And Barka itself is no more worthy of a visit

We really enjoyed our stay at the Al Nahda Resort. It was very quiet and peaceful, we almost had the place to ourselves. The reception staff were very accommodating! My only complaint was that it was hard to find, as we didn’t have a GPS in our rental car. There needs to be a sign on Highway 13. Thanks for a lovely stay!!

Staff in the hotel are so honest, friendly, helpfull and cooperating. Never and ever say No for any request, very powerful wifi all over resort. I've seen beautiful stress with birds singing and I stayed 2 days with piece of mind and relaxed while my children are playing around. I really recommend this hotel and will go back again and again cause it is my favorate resort in Muscat. Thank you Agoda for the booking.

relaxing and enjoyable”
The hotel is in a beautiful setting. I stayed in an Executive Suite which was in a top floor villa of 4. It was comfortable, clean and spacious. The balcony was large and not overlooked by anyone. It was well equipped, particularly with a good size fridge so that you could keep food/drink cold and fresh. I was by the reception area which is a 10 min walk from the pool and restaurant but calling for a buggy to transport you is easy and efficient. The room service was delivered quickly by friendly staff. There was a good variety of food for breakfast but it wasn't always fresh and there were a lot of flies around the food that wasn't covered up which put me off slightly! The pool is large and there are quite a number of sunbeds and a good amount of shade. I would recommend the Spa for treatments. Again, the staff are welcoming, attentive and friendly. Although, it did advertise massages as 45 mins long and my treatments only lasted 30 mins....but still worth it! The hotel is about an hour from Muscat but the reception staff will organise a taxi for you. All members of the staff are polite and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for a calm, relaxing and peaceful holiday!!

- Breakfast is not rich in varieties and no Arabic food variety - At night there is no enough lighting of roads inside the resort it needs more lights even to walk around - Signs and boards guidance to the resort from street to resort is very poor and if you do not know where is the resort or have GPS you can not reach it easily

when i choose al nahda resort i heard many lovely things but i really disappointed from the first impression that there is no any sing to guide to the resort &no parking and you have to be out side ... ok let enter then somebody to take the car then park it any where that's happening even in one star hotels . second thing the managers couldn't mange the situation because it was a rush time with a very bad manage .third thing when i return back to my suite my card is not working and i stay out side the suite with my family for about 10 to 15 min outside in the hot weather it was the first time happennig to me . last thing to say that the good management should treat all nationality on the same manner it doesn't matter but in this resort i saw it clearly the reciption was so bad . me and my wife will not even think to choose this resort . i will be honest to say i really disappointed to
