Bad location. Transportation available is tricycle which overcharge foreigners by a lot. The host says it is the normal price, thus making herself an accomplice in scamming. I never paid the ammount they try to hassle you for. The place is also overpriced. There are places close or almost at the beach for less. There is no WiFi. In 2022 that is and should be a standard

access is a big issue , they have problems with a land issue that stops access to the place. there is another dirt road to gain access.

my stay there was better than what I expected!”

the facilities, the staff and the location. it was like a condo that have everything you need. own refrigerator, utensils, fan, AC, hot water, rice cooker , heater, everything is in there. it’s like a complete house. you can save money if you will choose to buy food from the market and cook it just like what we did for 3 days. it is 5 minutes drive to Alone beach and Airport. very nice perfect place. the staff and owner are very friendly.

Hosts are lovely people. Nice quiet location. Fridge in room and cooking facilities. Reception sells goods like beers, washing powder etc.
No kettle as advertised. Pillows smell musty and used. Bedding and towels washed with no nice conditioner smells. Many tiny ants in room due to ill-fitting doors with gaps to outside. WiFi not good in room.

The room was as expected. Clean, a Nice bed, hot water for shower and a fine AC. The host was so helpful and friendly. we would love to stay there again.
The electricity had some minor issues though. Something when light was turned on at the same time as AC + shower, the light started to blink. but a small issue though.

Amazing, clean and comfy studio.”

This place is absolutely worth to stay. First of all, I need to say the owners and staffs are incredible nice people. Very welcoming people. The place itself is very nice. The outdoor area is well presented with nice flowers, tables and chairs to chill out. We stayed 10 nights in the standard studio with no regrets. Very comfortable, super clean and big size studio. The kitchen is a plus with handful kitchen tools. This is a place that made us feel home even miles away. I highly recommend. PS: As we really enjoyed our stay, we decided to extend for a month.

Overall, I'd still stay in this property next time I visit Bohol. I like everything in here, it feels like home. I wish the wifi will be better next time.
Wifi connection was not good. Could barely connect. No hairdryer, on the description it said there is one.

The location of the place is really good, near Alona but far from the chaos. The room is big, complete with kitchen if in case you prefer to prepare your food instead of eating outside.
The WIFI is not so good. It keeps disconnecting. Basically, it is not working. It is more reliable to use local prepaid sim to use to the internet instead of the WIFI. It is almost the same case in all the accommodations in the Philippines.

Excellent stay, the studio has everything you need! Great value for money!”

The studio is well located, considering you rent a scooter to walk around the island. It is just 1.5 Km from Alona Beach. The receptionists are super great, loved them all, specially Jibby, she was amazing when I couldn't deal with the motorbike! The bathroom has hot shower (good water pressure, something rare in Indonesia!), the studio has all kitchen utensils (the essential) you need to prepare your meals, towels, air con, big wardrobe and working desk. The rooms are big. They rent excellent scooters for 400 pesos/day. I would definitely come back and stay at Alaia.
If I could suggest something, perhaps I would change the mattress, they were a little thin and soft for my taste.

reasonable for its money, but a little bit far from the beach”

The lobby is very comfy and pleasant, rooms are standard for Philippines. Fridge was full of beer and coke. They provide bike rentals for 450 Piso/day - slightly above the market, but it's still very convenient. Make sure you understand what type of helmet they will bring to you - locals use "open" helmet which is more a rafting helmet rather than a scooter one.
Building construction was quite loud and the view out of the window was poor, breakfast is not included and the cats are full of fleas

The room is very spacious and is cleaned every day.
We had 2 grasshoppers in our room the first day which was an unpleasant surprise. However the second and third day we did not encounter anymore. As is clear from the pictures the hotel has a small seating area and the building with the rooms but nothing more. In general, we were no big fan of the alona region as it is dominated by big resorts. If you want to go out to eat in the evening, it's a short 7 min drive by motorcycle to get there.

It was really clean and they managed to keep the insects outside of the rooms. The staff is super friendly and always trying to help you with everything you need. There is no restaurant or Food available but you can order sth and eat it there. You can also cook something in your room, there are Even Rice cooker available. It is close enough to alona to get there in 5 Mins but also far away enough to have a quiet surrounding and to let your kids play outside of your hotel room. When we had some trouble in the bathroom, the owner of the resort stayed with us until it was fixed!

Set about 4 minutes from Alina beach and traffic but an easy motor bike ride. It's like an efficiency apartment. No frills but perfect if you are planning on exploring the area rather than a Resort! The staff was super nice and helpful.
