Air conditioning on the 6th floor doesn't work, so if you happen to have a room on that floor you'll probably won't sleep during the summer since is very warm. As a solution they provide a fan that doesn't help at all. After a lot of complains we got a room in a different floor on the 2nd night. Reading past reviews I realized that the air conditioning problem is not new, so basically they keep selling those rooms knowing that the problem exist and do nothing about it to fix it.

Good stay, good staff, good location”

We tried Alanda hotel as it was new and the hotel seems to have a traditional style. The facilities were good, the room big enough and clean. Everything you need if you are staying in the city 3 or 4 night. Very good location as it is near some of the main attractions in Astana and located in front of a shopping mall in case you need anything (money exchange, food etc.). The staff really went the extra mile to accommodate us. They provided prompt assistance and they were always very helpful. We would definitely recommend the hotel to others and we would happily stay again at the Alanda hotel if we were to come back to Astana.
