Above average”

I was promised a room with a private bathroom. But in reality I got a room with separate bathroom a few meters further down the hallway, which was very inconvenient. This should have been mentioned when booking the room. Otherwise the room was OK. With a watercooker to make a cup of tea. As a positive I got clean towels every day.

Good Value For Money”

I stayed for 5 nights in a single room with separate private bathroom. The man in charge was very friendly and helpful. The guest house is on one of the airport bus routes. I would defiantly stay here again if i return to Edinburgh.

Weekend at Alba Hills”

Very welcoming host, a brilliant waitress and very filling Scottish breakfast!

My wife and I are a middle-aged couple from South Yorkshire, UK. We stayed at the Alba Hills from a Friday to Sunday late in June. We were given a brilliant welcome by the host who went out of his way to make our stay comfortable, down to providing a printout of the buses from Alba Hills to the city centre - as we had arrived by train. The waitress who served us was very anxious to please the guests. The saddest part was having to leave Alba Hills...
