Very nice stay - will recommend it anyday!”
I was with a friend on an extended weekend and we chose Albion House because of price and location. We arrived early in the morning at 9PM, because of this our room wasn't ready so the hotel kept our lugage and we could return after 2PM to check in, which was absolutely fine. When we came back 3PM, we couldn't get the keys since there was some undefined "problem" with our room. So we waited in the lobby for 1½ hour before we finally got a room, in the Melville Hotel instead of the Albion House (but it is the same chain, so therefore I am writing this review as if it had been Albion House as I assume the rooms are the same). They were almost fully booked and I think the waiting time was due to getting the different rooms sorted for all people. Overall a very nice stay with spacious bathroom, nice location with the Park in front, close to public transportation (St. Pancras is only a 2min walk away) and there were some very nice local restaurants just down the road. Plesant stay, and I will be going there again.

Nice location, hard beds”
Easy find from Kings Cross. You have to go round the corner of the square to check in at a different hotel where the staff are quite nice. I was traveling light so it wasn't a big deal, but could be annoying with lots of luggage. The room was clean and it had all the basics, towel, in-suit, tea, kettle, and hair dryer. The beds were a bit overly hard for me and the shutters didn't block out all the light from the street. But overall I would recommend for someone who just wants a basic room near Kings Cross.

I really enjoyed my stay at Alibon House Hotel ”
I really enjoyed my stay at the Alibon House Hotel,Our room was on the ground floor, which really helped cause I have problems getting around with bad knees. The breakfast was nice, warm croissant, boiled eggs, cereal, fruit juice, and plenty of toast plus tea or coffee. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. What more could you ask for, thankyou for making my stay enjoyable.

Average hotel in excellent location ”
Used this hotel as a base for me and my 10 year old. Reception was helpful and check in quick. Room was extremely small, but it had been advertised as small, was ok for us, but maybe too small for two adults. Wifi only seemed to be available in shared area of hotel, not in room. The best thing about the hotel was its location. It is in a quiet street, but only 5 mins walk from kings cross/st pancras station , which seemed to be an ok area. Would definitely stay here again, but maybe book a larger room.

Great location but disappointing ”
Excellent location for kings cross and st pancras but really disappointed. Put in basement could barely get bags down the stairs, surrounded by building work going on in the hotel. Towel rail hanging off wall. TV didn't work and even though promised someone would come and sort it they didn't. No tea or coffee. Mattress was shot with springs sticking up really uncomfortable. Just glad it was only one night but didn't expect much for money should have paid a bit extra for something else

Very well located, lovely but small rooms”
We were put into a room at the Melville Hotel very nearby. The breakfast service was located at the Albion Hotel in a tiny, tiny crowded room. The food was just barely adequate.

Great location for travelers”
Located right near Kings Cross station, this is a perfect spot for a stopover. Had the basement room with small windows and fans, but quite hot (trip was in June). Space was cramped in the triple. All said, clean, convenient, and a good value for central London.

A very small hotel”
There is no reception in this hotel. You need to check-in in Melville hotel which is within 100M away from Albion House Hotel but there is no mentioned in Agoda nor any notice in the hotel door. I need to phone the hotel in order to know where I can check-in. The hotel room is very small. It is only suitable for 1 person. The bath room and toilet width is just fit for a person and you will find very difficult to turn around. The hotel also no lift and need to paid for keeping the luggage after you check-out (£1 per luggage).

Surprisingly good”
We had a great stay at the hotel: it isn't luxurious but it is quite attractive and we had enough space and storage to enjoy our stay. I would return - it was a good deal for us being so central. On the negative side the bed was too soft for me, the smoke alarm went off a couple of times for no reason at all and there were no tea bags or milk - just a kettle and cups! But none of this mattered much - the bathroom was great!

Basic facilities but quite adequate. Very convenient for Euston and St Pancras. ”
Good value. Friendly staff. Just what you need for a short stay in London and especially an overnight stay when catching the Eurostar

it's not bad”
i was switched to another hotel under the same company, which was just nearby. i unfortunately forgot the name of the hotel. it's not bad, my room was facing a park. there would be occasionally bees flew into my room. overall stay was okay. considering it's not that cheap, i expected a little more than what i got.

An excellent location but ....”
An excellent location however this hotel is in need of some serious upgrading. The ceiling fan didn't work & it was needed on our first night. We couldn't find anyone to tell until we checked out but had we done so they would have given us a fan apparently. Plaster patches on wall which were not re-painted. The room & en-suite were very small but luckily we didn't need to spend much time in it. It was clean.

Above average”
This room is extremely small and was difficult to get luggage downstairs. We were essentially in a basement with a bathroom that was extremely small and had no room to move in.

Way too small for 2 person and no elevator”
Unpleasant. Small and tiny room and bathroom to fit 2 person. No elevator. Heater cannot be turned on. It's under the control of the hotel to when they deem fit to turn on.
