Mismanaged Opportunity”
Please note that we visited Alexis in the off season so we may not have seen the resort at its best. Alexis is in an issolated location that requires your need for a scooter or automobile to satisfy the simplest of needs, such as eating. The closest real restaurant is approximately a 20 minute drive away. The ladies who oversee the resort are wonderful and made our stay worthwhile. They are willing to cook for you, but the meals are very simple Philippino cusine such as fish or chicken and rice. There is a beautiful corral garden 10 feet offshore; however, despite them calling themselves a Dive Resort there is no equipment. Their definition of Cliff Dive Resort means, 'to jump off the cliff' not snorkle or scuba dive. This is not a joke, there is an actual spot to jump! Alexis has tremendous potential, we just did not get to experience it.

Serene sunsets, amazing staff!”
What truly made my stay here at Alexis', aside from the peaceful sunsets, was the staff. Joy and Sam were so warm, welcoming, generous and accommodating. Never overbearing and always smiling. They gave the best advice and were always available when you needed them, just ask! They showed us the best parts of the island and made us so comfortable. If you have any interest in learning about Filipino food, ask joy! She's a fantastic cook. I leave with a big smile and new friends :)

Nice Place to dive with School of Sardines! ”
Pros -Location is a spot on if you want to snorkel/dive with a school of sardines -No fancy amenities, but the overall facility's clean -Vibe is relaxing -Staff were very accommodating -Board games for free -Solid jumping board hanging in the cliff for those who wants some adrenaline rush.

Terrific stay”
It's fabulous.The cliff is so beautiful and quiet, wonderful sunset view, corel garden and gulf is so cool and you will never feel boring staying there. Time is flying. all of them are willing to help guests all the time. Though the location is a little distant and outdoor bathroom is shabby, I'm more than satisfied staying there.

Very friendly, quiet, cute place to stay”
We started our stay in Panglao in this resort. Although it was a bit hard to find (the driver didn't know where it was) and it was quite secluded, we really enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly. Dinner is good, although not vary varied. You can snorkel at the reef beneath the cliff, nice!

Experience a real filipino hospitality”
The property is far from the highway but this is no problem if you had your own car and besides there are a lot of tricycles you can hire going there. Perl and Jim are so wonderful people they help us get around the place and show us around with their car. You can just tell them what you need and they are willing to help make you comfortable and feel at home. The room is big and very spacious. They said the have their own sardines run on their very own beach. I hope we can experience it on our next stay because we have very limited time in Bohol.

Great place to escape and see real Philippines”
I loved my stay. The hostess was fun and very accommodating! The cliff is fun to jump off and the reef is beautiful. My only complaint was the constant construction going on next door. But that's what I get for traveling in the off season

Quiet place, friendly staff and owners.. ”
We went for the cliff diving..More could be done regarding the access to the diving spot. They had to turn down walk ins because they had to iron oit some issues with the neigjboir resort .

small secluded resort ”
The stay was good, the only problem is the location. It is quite far from other attractions and we even having difficulty in finding the resort. If you have your own transport, then it will be perfect to stay here as the staff is very attentive and the resort is very clean.

Lovely staff - isolated location...”
it's about a 25 minute commute to alona beach from the little resort, and there's very little to do nearby or at the resort. it's pleasant, but isolated, so if you go, be ready for some reading time and to pay pesos for a taxi or to pay 400 pesos to rent a motorbike. communicate clearly about all fees and charges before you checkout.

Calm and budget stay in Bohol”
If a traveler want a calm and out of crowded area, this is the hotel. The room is OK and clean. Due to far away from town, you need to order the food what you want to eat and the host will cook it for you. I love the Dog, it's really cute and behave ^_^

Choose something else”
We check in and I ask if we can rent a bike with helmets, the answer is yes. Then 15:30 I ask if we can rent a bike in an hour, the answer is yes. Then 16:30 the same staff say we have to wait 30 minutes...and when the bike arrives, no helmets...so we have to rent somewhere else because they don't care about our safety. The food is good. In the morning we had to wait 40 minutes to get a simple sandwich with egg. I feel that it's only rude to keep wasting customers time for no reason. We ask the first day if we can rent a snorkel and they have no available (in a cliff dive resort), yea I'm not kidding. The staff I asked was sleeping in the counter half the day. They had two dogs that smelled really bad but the cat was cute. The toilet is one stair down shared by four rooms. There is an extra toilet on the ground floor but there were ants falling from the sealing so I didn't feel like using it. The room wasn't cleaned under the bed so I can't say it's a clean place. No WiFi

Place is nice. Not so crowded! You will enjoy the beach view. They just need to add more crew to accommodate their guests real time. However the staffs were so hospitable and so nice!

good enough for a night's rest”
The fact that the phone numbers provided at their website weren't reachable or not working made it even harder to find our way their. The location was very interior and the way there was a bumpy ride. Once there, it was peacecull. Would've been better if the pool was finished during our stay. The meals were over priced.

It took a bit of time to get to the hotel because it was very interior and the road was rocky. Friendly staff greeted us and checking in and out was quick. The place is quiet, ideal for people who want a bit of peace. Very close to the ocean but the place was still upgrading (swimming pool wasn't finished then).

Good for a private getaway.”
Great view and beautiful setting. Very secluded, not close to popular Along beach, or anything really. They didn't know I was coming so no staff was there, and I didn't have a towel, but they were really awesome kind once they got there, and I enjoyed hanging out with them, and getting to know the one other guest group. I was the only guest on one of nights so know that it's really private. The pool is great to swim in. Cold showers. Some damage from earthquakes/storms.

Best snorkeling around right infront of hotel ,no beach but nice people !! Very helpful and have motorbikes to rent . Bring mosquito repellent and full length swimming outfit for jellyfish and your own snorkeling gear .Thank you for the free upgrade !!!

It was a beautiful, peaceful place that was very affordable. The only disadvantage is that it is about 20 minutes from the central beach area.
