Large apartment well equipped for 30$ pn, but not "close to beach and cafes".”

This was a cheap option (I booked then cancelled another hotel before deciding on this property). But honeslty, the room was fantastic - a large lounge, a functional kitchen, a large bedroom, a large bathroom, and outdoor seating area and table, directly in front of the pool. Netflix on the tv. it wasnt fantastically decorated or anything like that ... but it was like being in my own apartment in Alona.
It is a bit misleading say "close to beach and cafes" in the title. There is no beach access - it is about 900m walk to the main road, along the main road, and then back down to the beach - and since the beach is where most of the cafes are located then the same comment applies. It wasnt an issue for me, as I checked and knew this, but I like a walk to walk. Others, older people, families etc, might not like this.

Lovely space for the bungalow, bathroom was lovely, hot water, pool was lovely, private patio area was great and good location
Name of property not given so very hard to find, the bed broke 2 nights running. Paper to wedge the slats in place instead of screwing them in. Not acceptable.

its a bungalow
misleading ad. dont rent this property if you want direct access to Alona beach as the direct access is closed. You need to book a ride or walk 20 mins towards the main road then go to the road leading to Alona beach. the staff will not inform you this. i learned it from the tricycle driver. they only told me when i asked the staff to confirm and they just apologised for the misleading ad and offered a refund. i didnt accept the refund as i still stayed overnight but left at 7.45am. check out time is 11am. they dont allow late check out as well and did not offer any options like leave your luggage behind and come back for your stuff after your day activity.
