      Tired room and paper thin walls”

      The restaurant was nice but our room (superior queen room) was a bit of a disappointment. We could hear people’s talks, water usage noise and even a sound from the toilet from the room above or beside. The furniture in the room was dated, I expected a nicer room for the money I paid.

      Great lodge - even better service ”

      Can recommend this place very highly for anyone who values personalised service - with a smile and warm words - and great hospitality. Rooms are comfortable and workable (and warm) - and the lodge restaurant / bar / relaxing areas are really nice - however it is the hands on welcoming service that really makes this place where the owners and hotel team go out of their way to make every guest feel welcome. I will be returning.

      Beautiful lodge with great staff and views. ”

      We stayed here on our visit to Nelson Lakes National Park and were impressed with our lodge. Very spacious with a beautiful view! The restaurant was also splendid with lovely service and good food. Definitely the place to stay if you are going to Nelson Lakes National Park.
