Lovely place with the BEST staff”
I love how this place is near our place in Marikina. Quick getaway after nearly two years of being cooped up at home. They have three pools and staff try to really keep it clean but with kids around, it's a hard task. Complimentary breakfast is very limited with just one option. They also offer only brewed coffee and water so if you have kids with you, bring them juice or milk unless you opt to buy in the resto. The things is, they don't have ref in the room so your drinks won't be cold for long. They allow for you to have your food delivered (Grab food or Food Panda) without corkage so that's a plus! With the limitations they have, THE EXCELLENT STAFF MAKE YOUR STAY WORTHWHILE. 💙

It was a good experience but there are areas to be improved ”
The place was cozy. It has a big space with plenty of pools to choose from. The rooms are fine but the stairs are really challenging. The room was generally clean, bring your own extension cords coz it only has 1 free socket to plug 2 gadgets. There was water of pitcher and 2 glasses on the bed side table but we weren’t sure if they were clean. Doors should have another lock. If someone would try to go inside your room and steal things, it’s really easy. No bartender available during the night. The staff were really nice, accommodating, courteous and helpful.

Stayed here for 1 night since my wife was attending a company seminar near by. Place is ok but the room they gave us is waaayyy up in the back even though there's only about 2-3 other groups in the resort and there are A LOT of vacant rooms near the restaurant and pool. Overall the room was clean but a the place gives a creepy vibe when there's only a few guests. Food is ok and the staff are helpful.

Would not recommend foreigners stay here. Equivalent to a building with six floors and no elevator. Reception on floor 3. Standard room on floor 6. No handrails on some of the steps. Simple free breakfast one egg one scoop rice plus coffee. WiFi hit and miss on higher floors.

Plain and simple not worth the money. No food in house everything was sold out or never carried it. No tike driver knows where it is and not near anything walking. floor was exposed cement wifi don't even get me started. If your a westerner just skip this place.

The worst hotel ever after hundreds of hotels visited.”
Their rooms smelled like insectide. Just a minute inside their rooms made me want to throw up even half an hour after just checking the rooms. Tried to check the other rooms and it was the same. Paid so much but the room was so bad that we decided just say goodbye to our agoda payments.. The worst so far ever in the world. It is a big place with the worst upkeeps. Almost like walking into a gas chamber. Much more sleeping there

PROS: ROOM RATES - very cheap and affordable... I suggest to book online para mas mura xa kesa walk-in. STAFF - Very accommodating and friendly... My request to move us from a 2nd floor to a lower floor due to young children and oldies was granted... Kuya guard let us park within the vicinity near our room that is very accessible lalo na pag buhat ng mga gamit. LOCATION - very accessible at super lapit lng sa Robinsons Antipolo, Cathedral and other tourist spots. ROOM - malaki at maluwag and toiletries were well provided... FOOD - affordable and delicious to include its complimentary breakfast. Sulit tlga. CONS Eto lng tlga.. kung maarte k, e madumi sau... so if grabe expectations mu na tulad xa s pictures sa agoda.. Bk madisappoint k. But generally the resort is clean and maintained... May mga areas lng na need improvement and maintenance. Generally, we had a great time and memorable stay in Altaroca... We will book again...

Staycation”
I was a bit hesitant to book Altaroca due to some concerning reviews online -- however, our family of 6 (plus a toddler) had a great time especially if you are on a budget and is looking for a quick escape from the city. The pools were huge! And you have a choice of 3 pools depending on what you want to use. For our case, we used the Lower Pool (near the cottages) in the afternoon since it has a shade. We used the Upper Pool in the morning for some morning sunshine and the pool nearest the restaurant was the best for us, since it has a view of Antipolo where you can lounge and relax even at night. Pros: The resort was also near Robinson's Antipolo if you wish to buy some things for the staycation. Food at their restaurant was also quite good. Plus, they have coffee for you at the Reception. Another plus! Some things to look out for: The Family Rooms were located on the higher floors so we did a lot of climbing, that can also be quite tiring especially for kids and the elderly.

I was hesitant to book at first after reading the reviews here but pushed through with it. And I am glad I did. The resort was clean; there were no mosquitoes; the staff were so friendly and accommodating ~ all of them; and best of all, we saw some amazing fireworks display from nearby establishments. Relaxing place good for family and friends”
It was a pleasant stay at AltaRoca. Although its quite pricey for students/young adults, it is still worth it because of the quiet place, nice ambience and friendly staffs. I will definitely come back and recommend this with my friends and family.

Very disappointed”
We booked Altaroca for my dad's bday and when we arrived there we're quite disappointed with the area. 1. The pools are dirty with all the leaves falling from the tree and we saw a nail under the pool. 2. The room only have 2 sockets (one beside the bed and one in the cr) 3. The resort's cleanliness is not maintained properly 4. There's no bucket for the cr. 5. No intercom. Too hard to communicate with the receptionist. The only pros is that the resort is near with our place.

Facilities needs more improvement”
We stayed here during the weekend for our weekly family bonding. We booked a standard room good for 4 people but we were not informed that the room was located on the 3rd floor which was very steep to climb. The receptionist was very accommodating and offered us a Deluxe room however, the air-conditioning is not enough to cool the entire room. I asked the assistant to move us to another room but he mentioned that the cooling capacity of the air-con is still the same. Internet was down, no phone to request for a room service. Internet was down and you need to go to the restaurant to grab some water, since there is no available pitcher. The place is only good for excursions. The place also looks really different as compared to what they have on their website.
