Great Place to Check in and has Great Location!”
I stayed here with my mom for 4 nights for a congress I had to attend in Iloilo City. The room we checked in is very spacious. The staff were friendly and helped us arrange for a free shuttle to go to the venue of the congress. The staff also offer great recommendations on where to eat. The hallway on the fifth floor was hot but since we didn't spend much time here, we didn't mind. If you want to spend time here or on the children's play area though, I think you should take note of this. The hotel has an excellent location so you wouldn't run out of things to do. The hotel is walking distance/ reasonable distance to a lot of tourist attractions. It has a mall and convenience store in its ground floor, an SM Annex behind it, Marymart Mall next to the SM, and a bunch of restaurants including Buto't Balat, Grillers, Decos, Ted's Old Timer La Paz Batchoy, to name a few. On the ground floor, there is also a Gloria Maris restaurant. The city's party place is a taxi ride away. The free WiFi that comes with the room is also pretty good. Do note though that if you have multiple devices, you have to inform the front desk so they can activate the password for it. Our WiFi signal in the room was enough for us (we mainly browsed Facebook or did quick google searches on what to do in the area), though I met someone staying in the same room that had issues with connectivity so I guess we got lucky with our room. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and I'd recommend the place to other people. I'd most likely take my family here if I return to Iloilo.

Good location and friendly staff”
We stayed one night with our 2 children age 13 and 19. Good location as the supermarket, money changer and a mall is just within the hotel vicinity. We booked a suite room with 2 bedrooms and we are also able to check in early as we arrived at 11am without any charge. Friendly and helpful staff. Only set back is there is no wifi in the room and only at the lobby area. Will definitely stay in Amigo Terrace again.

this is ederlinda antonio the sister of ma. fe lagmay. i used my credit card to book in amigo hotel. she says that i will be the one to choose where she and her daughter can stay in iloilo. when i made the booking and handed her the details of booking she was glad that i have chose the right hotel. it was 3 years ago the last time she stayed there and she was amazed that it improved alot and still lots of improvements going on. keep up the good work... thanks for making my sis have a good rest...

2nd Anniversary”
The Amigo is a surprising oasis in the centre of the city; breakfast on the terrace was a joy; pleasant peaceful and attractive surroundings. Reception on the 3rd floor is unusual but increased the sense of blissful seclusion the interior brings. The Gloria Maris restaurant on the Ground floor with its Chinese influenced cuisine is a superb complement to the hotel - service was excellent and the food was faultless. Although generally quiet the traffic noise was noticeable occasionally but not sufficient to disturb our enjoyment or the restful night's sleep.

Excellent location”
Very good location, with plenty of taxi just outside the hotel. SM is also just at the back and there is a 24 hour convenience store below the hotel. The hotel is at the center of Iloilo. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. They gave us a room on upper floor just in front of the play area, so that our baby can easily play there.

Fantastic - great kids play area, shame about pool”
Loved this hotel. With a three year old the play area is fantastic. Room was large and cosy. Staff were extremely friendly. Location great as you are right across from a mall. Nice restaurant area with good biscuits alongside decent coffee! Just a shame about the pool which is in need of refreshing - very concrete and very 60s. Will certainly come back when in Iloilo.

Good Location”
The Amigo Terrace Hotel has modern and spacious standard rooms. However there was no fridge, no shower cap, no slippers and no in room safe - which unfortunately you need in Ilo Ilo - hold on to your valuables! We had to wait for the check up of our room - which didn't even have a mini bar - before they handed us a slip to be able to leave the hotel - we never had that experience at a check out before. The breakfast buffet is another 200 pesos each. The location was okay. In walk in distance to a mall and restaurants.

clean and good value”
I found the Hotel met my expectations, if however you were looking for more nightlife one of the hotels in the smalleville area may suit you better, however they are quite noisy. It cost maybe 60 peso to travel to that area by taxi from the Amigo and there are loads of taxis. Not one taxi driver tried to rip me off and i did not have to tell them to use the meter.

A hop and a skip away from everything! ”
We are world travellers who stay in 4-star and 5-star hotels. I found Anigo to be well-maintained and very clean. Interiors are nice. Staff are friendly and efficient. Check-in and check-out a breeze. But the only downside are the lobbies on each floor where some hotel guests choose to mingle and drink beer until wee hours of the morning. Their laughter and voices can be heard in the rooms so i think such rowdiness should not be allowed there. Guests should mingle in the terrace area and not the lobbies found on each floor. Cannot sleep with such noise.

Spacious hotel but terrible food”
the best thing about the hotel is its location right smack in the city and its spacious rooms but that's about it. there was no mini-bar and no standard complimentary coffee et al. toiletries were not replenished during my 3d2n stay. and the prices vary depending on whom you talk to. when i called front desk about their bottled water for room service, i was told it was but when it was delivered, i was billed twice the amount. again, i asked front desk how mcuh thier breakfast buffet, i was told it was but when i paid upon check-out, i was given change for my that did not amount. in fairness to them though, when i asked for clarification with front desk, they honored the fee. but anyway, don't bother with their food. it's terrible.

Excellent”
Overall, the service we experienced during our stay was excellent... the staff was very friendly and very helpful. The pool area could do with more improvements though. Still, I would stay there again next time I'm in Iloilo.

we loved the furnishings. we loved taking photos of the different arrangements in the hotel lobby and hallways. the room is nicely decorated. the hotel is in a convenient location for shopping. service was prompt and friendly

Centrally located hotel”
Had a good overnight stay. Clean rooms, big bed, good service. Near restaurants, sm mall, amigo mall, casino and market. Old part of town. If you want more better stay in Mandurriao. There are better and new hotels, bigger malls, new shops and more restaurants.

Great Hotel.”
Hotel and rooms, we had 2, were very clean. Staff were polite and friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned each day. Playground on 5th floor. Pity that the pool was closed at the time for repairs as children wanted to swim, should be open again very soon.

Graduation Day”
A break for a couple of days to celebrate birthday and graduation day with friends in the city. The facilities are excellent and the hotel is quiet - lots of space - although reception on third floor is a little unusual - and inconvenient if you forget. Our stay was trouble free and everything was to a good standard at excellent value. We would certainly stay again.

Centrally Located Hotel for Business Travellers”
This boutique hotel is newly renovated and is centrally located in the Iloilo Down Town area. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. However, upkeep and maintenance of the room is lacking and the food served isn't satisfying. Because the Hotel is in a central location, you have the option to dine out in nearby restaurants; but those looking for night life will have to travel 15-20 Minutes away to the Smallville business centre where most bar and clubs are located. It's quite interesting to note that they have a casino at the third floor for those who want to gamble. Their business centre is ideal for meetings and it is fully equipped with machines for your business needs. All in all, the hotel isn't great but it covers the basics required by the business traveller.

Nice but Not the Best in Town”
We enjoyed the hotel. They were undergoing renovation during our stay. It should look very nice when it's completed. We felt that our service was greatly sacrificed in order to focus their attention on a private re-opening party held for the owning family. The only reason that we left is that we couldn't receive wifi in the room.

Nice hotel in a good part of the city”
Decent hotel in a small country town. Iloilo is a nice town, with very friendly people. The hotel is in a great location, near many restaurants and a good size mall. I felt very safe and secure in the hotel. If internet service is important, the WiFi in the lobby is good, but in the rooms the service is slow.
