Exceptional Staff”
The place is really big. Its very comfi and homey. I was sick when we were there and the staff are awesome! They are so kind and making me feel comfortable and takes care of me without even asking for any additional payment. They provided me anything that i need. They even offer if I want to change my room. They make a tea with ginger and honey for free! Bought me meds in town. I will be happy to be here again and again!!

Genuinely relaxing chillout resort”
We had 2 very pleasant nights at Amor Farm. The fan room was sufficiently cooled, bed was comfortable, and bathroom decent. There were some ants out and about but it is a very rural area. Staff really were exceptional - we had gotten used to pretty poor customer service in the Philippines and these guys bucked that trend completely. Wi-Fi worked OK for basic use by the restaurant. Restaurant food was simple but filling. I particularly liked lying on the massage mattresses reading my book looking out at the sunset. Only about a 5-7 minute walk to the Butanding Interaction Centre - the experience with the whale sharks was truly momentous and unforgettable

Tje beach on Donsol is no intetesting, not appealing But the resort is friendly, clean and really worth the money. Wi-Fi is only in the restaurant and is not that good.

THE STORY BEHIND THIS RESORT IS TOUCHING”
Me and my husband never regretted staying in this resort. We heard the family story and we never wondered why there's so much care from the staff which were all relatives of the owner. It's very homey, water supply is great, food is delicious. One comment though, they should have warned us against swimming in the beach because there's a lot of jellyfish this season. Good thing, we're not bitten or lashed.

Quiet vibe, great food, value for money”
I got the standard fan room right by the beach and while there’s no hot water, everything else is great. The food - Bicolano dishes - is excellent, and so is their brewed coffee and hot chocolate. WiFi is okay, Globe LTE/3G really fast. For the price, it’s hard to beat if you don’t need any frills.

Lovely little place ”
Had such a nice feel to it. Right on the beach front, 8 minute walk to whale shark centre. Not too expensive for food etc and expect to wait a little bit for service and food at times. Nice little rooms, didn't get cleaned while there but I'm sure they would if asked. Wi-Fi very poor!! Lots of locals on holiday there

WE CAME ON AN OFF-PEAK SEASON SO BE REMINDED THAT THEIR RESTAURANTS ARE NOT OPEN DURING THE OFF-PEAK SEASON SO YOU WOULD NEED TO GET FOOD FROM OUTSIDE THE RESORT. THE RESORT TRY TO ACCOMMODATE WHAT YOU MIGHT NEED BUT YOU MIGHT NEED TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF IN GENERAL.

We found it a really nice place and quiet. Very relaxing. We where there only for the whale shark sightseen and apart from that there is nothing much to do, although we enjoyed the three days a lot. The food in the resturant is good and cheap and the crew is very friendly and helpfull. Good choice.

we go there with my family because we heard the beach is good but we were dissapointed because we cannot swim on the beach because of many jelly fish. we stay there 2 nights. we request them to wash our laundry and we pay 100 pesos per 1 kilo, and i think that is expensive. thats it, the place is very good, the food in their restaurant is very good also.. just the beach problem because the kids wants to swim but cannot be..so they are not enjoying their vacation.

Good value, clean and good location”
We really enjoyed our stay at Amor Farm. We came to Donsol to try and swim with the whale sharks, and were lucky enough to swim with 4! The resort is a 5 minute walk away from the Tourist Centre (where you book and depart from for the whale shark interactions), either along the road or along the beach. Our room had a basic bathroom, a good size double bed (and a spare single bed) and a fan. The room and bathroom were clean. The room also had a nice little patio with chairs and a table, and plenty of space to dry our wet swimming stuff. The restaurant also serves pretty good food, with similar prices to other resorts along the beach. Overall, good value for money. Would stay here again. And would definitely recommend swimming with the whale sharks!!! Amazing experience!

Our stay at tha Amor Farm was fine. The location is great, right on the beach and easy to find. The surprise was that it was one of the only resorts open during this low season. I expected the area to be crowded because the other resorts claimed they were full. The oposite was true. There are very few people visiting Donsol and the other resorts were in fact closed untill November with no occupants. The best thing about Amor Farm is the wonderful friendly staff.

Incredible value for money ”
I highly recommend staying here whilst you visit Donsol the place is incredible for the money you pay! Beautiful beach side bungalows, clean and fresh, highly attentive staff with everything you want/need onsite. Whale shark diving 10 min walk up road. I even paid for 2 nights online but only needed to stay 1 night in the end (regrettably) as was a beautiful place I didn't want to leave, but to accommodate the manager or owner I'm not sure which gave me and my other half free breakfast to make up for the fact we weren't staying for a night we paid for. They totally didn't need to do this but was extremely kind of them. I will be back in Donsol at some point as there were no whalesharks and I will 100% stay here.

Good value for the discounted price that I paid”
I was GRANDPAcking in Donsol for 3 nights. I found the Amor Farm Beach Resort on AGODA.COM. They were offering a Fan Double duplex with cold water shower for PHP930 / night. No in-room wifi. No breakfast. It was about 300m from the Whale Shark Center. Resorts nearer the Center were asking PHP200-300 more for the same (or lesser) thing. I booked 3 nights The room was a reasonable size with a Double and a Single bed. There was no wardrobe, but they provided a floor standing clothes rack. The ceiling fan was quiet and efficient. The ensuite was a good size and clean. Good water pressure. The grounds are pleasant and they have a nice open air restaurant. On my first evening, I tried their Kinunot fish dish – their ‘House Speciality’ for PHP150. Tasty. The cheapest breakfast will cost you PHP100; something filling PHP150. Mains average PHP200. I tried their Chicken Adobo for PHP200. One of the nicest that I have had in The Philippines. My only negative is that they only have wifi in the Restaurant; but they turn it off when the restaurant closes and don't switch it on again until they open the next morning. They should leave it on for those who need to use it in the night (like a Skype call home).

Sweet charming place”
amor farm beach was great. we stayed there for four nights and ate all our meals there. while the service may be slow (you have to order in advance if you are rushed for time) but the staff were sweet and service was good. we had such a good stay there. :) there's a beachfront but the sand wasnt so nice. the water was clean but murky because of the sand. the room was basic but it's value for money. you will feel close to nature as the rooster will wake you up in the morning.

We stayed here for 3 nights to be sure to see a whaleshark. You can just walk to the tourism center to see and swim with the whalesharks. By tricycle it is 5 minutes to Donsol. The room was very basic but good and clean! The people were very friendly and the Restaurant was good and cheap. There were also some nice spots to sit next to the beach and enjoy the view. Would definitely go there again!
