My stay at Amorsolo Mansion Hotel in Makati, P.I.”
The Amorsolo is located within walking distance to Makati Medical Plaza where I was having dental work done. Although the internet at the hotel was down the staff steered me to the Plaza Mall, where, next to Jolliee is an inexpensive internet cafe. This too was in walking distance as was Greenbelt with all it's food, nightlife and shops. Additionally there is an all night 7-11 around the corner again in walking distance. The staff, from reception, to laundry, to the guards and the cafe were all friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again. I do hope, however, that the beds are firm, not hard, and that the curtains can darken the room during the day. SM Mall of Asia is a short taxi ride away and I enjoyed the fireworks, the IMAX 3-D and the nightlife on the boardwalk down by the water.

Stuffy Business Hotel”
the stay was mainly because of a meeting in makati and amorsolo is right below the skyway which makes it uber accessible from the airport. the room is nice, simple, basic and spacious. the value for money is well respected. however, maybe because it is quite old, the room is stuffy and smells old. maybe the hotel needs to work on that in terms of proper maintenance.

Older but Clean and Friendly”
The staff was very nice and hotel very clean. My room was basic. Two single beds. The mattresses were rather hard, not exactly to my liking. I loved the shower: great water pressure. Be sure to bring your own soap, shampoo, etc. This hotel didn't provide those. Would I stay here again? Absolutely!

rather old nice staff”
i looked for this hotel on the wesite checked the rooms by the pictures provided. when shown the room couldnt believe, it looked nothing like what i was expecting. had 2 single beds when i expected king bed from the photos. was very roomy airconditioer to small for the size. hot water lasted only minutes. was very expensive i felt for what was given. wi fi only in lobby. overall dissapointed . explained on leaving to management they say tat they will try and get web site updated so you know what is being offered

Central location”
We chose this hotel because it was very near the embassy that we had to go to. The hotel personnel were very cordial and helpful, going out of their way to help us out. It's also very near the shopping district.

Spacious but lacking”
I stayed here for 2 nights recently. There wasn't anything really bad, but I just felt it was not a very good value. It advertises as an appartment type room but the kitchenette is a bit bare with only this mini oven and hot plate that you cannot run together -- basically good for boiling water. For an appartment type place I would want in-room internet but they did not have. They did not honor my request to have a single king or be on a higher floor, but other than that the staff was courteous for the most part. However, they did not clean my room the 2nd day. The neighborhood was nice and about a 10 min walk from green belt, but I have happier with other places in makati for sure.

This is a good basic hotel. The rooms are clean and rather large. The kitchenette has a reasonable collection of cooking utensils and pans. Location is great and price is right.

Friendly accommodating staff”
We stayed here as it is a short walk to Greenbelt mall, restaurants and AIM conference center. The rooms are very basic but after the first night you get used to it. Internet was good and free and was able to stream a movie. Staff on the front desk, door, cleaning and coffee bar were very friendly and helpful. Yes you need to put the make room up sign on the door handle, we missed it one day and got no cleaning but towels were delivered fast upon request. They really try hard to make you happy.. First room we was in had 2 beds and was noisy on the street side at rush hour, asked to move to a double bed with no trouble and less noise.

Great location and large room”
There was renovations being carried out so a little bit dirty. Otherwise clean and neat. Basic accommodation. Only slept there so didn't require anything fancy. Didn't use kitchen, but plenty of room as husband uses a wheelchair. Security on front door and staff very friendly. Got exactely what we paid for.

Fair to average”
I stayed only 2 days and then relocated. Being a single traveler I did not need apartment type accommodation but most of the other hotels were booked out and I had little choice. Management needs to look at other customer reviews. I had same complaints. The airconditioner was inadequate for the size of the rooms. Plumbing was bad. Mouldy in places. Linen and towels average Breakfast only fair. The lady in the restaurant was nice but the rest of the staff were very unobliging

Poor amenities”
Housekeeping is not "automatic" you have to put the "please make up room" sign outside before they clean it - unlike other hotels. Faucet inside the bathroom is disconnected and it's only a tube - which is full of rust! You have to wash the plates and other kitchen materials before using it because there are cockroaches!Free breakfast is just one banana, 2 slices of orange, bread, butter and a jam!

old hotel”
I was given a room at second floor right in front of the main road outside. It was unbearable noisy so I asked for a change of room at higher floor and not facing the main road. The new room was a bit better but no free water and the glasses and bottles are dirty and old. Breakfast is provided but only butter and bread, you need to pay extra for the fry egg !! No Internet in the room. Overall it's not for me.

Aged hotel despite spacious room”
Overall, I rate this as way below expectation on the price that i paid. Aged, looks used. No smell, but despite spaciousness, very little furniture provided. For example, no study table.

The internet pictures shows not the true”
The internet pictures of the rooms has nothing to do with the reality. The furnishing is very basic and old. No internet connection in the rooms. The bathroom fixtures are partially defective. The complimentary breakfast is very basic.
