Property announcements

As of December 24th, 2021, our pool, our parking lot, Passions on the Beach, Mangos, Horizons and 41 of our 72 studios and suites are fully renovated. No construction work will take place between December 24th, 2021, and April 19th, 2022. As of April 20th, 2022, we will start with the east side of the property (if standing with your back to the beach). This project will cover the lobby building, the last building of One-Bedrooms, Two-Bedrooms and Superior Studios and the 15 studios of the C-building, in addition to a 4th floor where we will add an ocean view gym and spa. Since these rooms will all be on one side of the property, we expect that inconveniences will be kept to a minimum. Our aim is to have everything done by October 31st, 2022 and look forward to sharing our updates with you as we progress.

Everything was fine BUT the smell”

My girlfriend and I traveled to Aruba and stayed at the Amsterdam manor. When we first arrived we loved the look of the place, it was right next to the beach and the staff looked welcoming from the safety of our rental car with the AC on. BUT then we got out of the car and we’re instantly hit with a horrific odor. We shrugged it off and thought hmm probably just a strange occurrence. Got to our room which was fine, nothing wrong with it at all. In fact the bed was quite comfy and the view was pretty decent. We hit the beach out front of the hotel and the smell returned. Ugh. Next day we wake up rested, go outside and promptly leave for our ATV tour. That was great! We return and say to our tour guide ya we like this spot but there’s this odd smell. He replies, oh ya that’s SEWAGE from the treatment plant next door. So basically this place is fine however we shan’t be returning because it literally smells of poop at all times.

My recent stay exceeded my expectations. The room was sparkling clean, we had a balcony with a beautiful view and didn’t have to pay the usual up-charge for it. The resort is right on the most beautiful beach in Aruba, Eagle Beach. They have a pool restaurant/bar with great happy hour from 4-7 every day. Also a beach side bar/restaurant. Food at both places was great. I cannot wait to return, and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else.
