My favorite ”
That is my first time staying in An Lam Retreats Saigon River for one night. When I arrived at the resort, I felt treated like a VIP guest. Overall the environment in the resort, you will feel you come to the jungle and are comfortable. A lot of trees and plants surrounded you, and you can get fresh air even though they are placed on the side of the Saigon river. Every staff in the resort is nice, they are so sweet and provide any service for you as do as they can. They arrange different activities in each period, like a cookie-making course, yoga time, candle-making, etc. You won't feel bored when you are in the resort. The room is really amazing. The pillow and duvet are clean. And they have a mosquito net to avoid mosquitoes biting you when you are sleeping. Overall, for me, it was really wonderful, and I have a beautiful night with my boyfriend.

I got something to say about your room Service, everything were almost perfect because we choose a room with River view, since i ask for private boat to the room but maybe the request wasnt so clear so we didnt know that we have to pay extra to get that service but that was ok. The thing i want to mention were the alert when clean staff enter the room. Since my room was too big and the door was so far away, my friend did not hear staff calling and then they come to the room without her consent or awareness, it is very unprofessional since she arrived first and in room alone in the bathroom. It not the only time, the very next day before check out, we experienced the same problem again, this time we did asked front desk about the time check-out and you guy rely its okay to be a little bit late. But then your staff arrived inside the room without our notice. We were both in the back of the room panicking. I been to a lot of hotels around the world and in Việt Nam! But this is the first time we experienced this problems. Pls fix this behavior asap. I am looking forward to hearing from you guys.

A most romantic proposal in a little piece of heaven”
I chose An Lam to propose to my now fiancee. The staff at the retreat was extremely helpful to organise the surprise, picking a romantic dinner table with a special decoration and booking a band for us. They also treated her to a birthday surprise. The room and facilities were obviously beautiful and the staff was warm, welcoming and humorous. I've never written a review for an hotel before, but I couldn't pass on the chance. An unforgettable experience.

Only 20 mins by speed boat and you could find a little paradise with great greenery, adorable, supportive staffs and nice foods (the breakfast buffet is quite hearty). It also gives you the Jurassic-Park-kind-of-feeling :)
