Very Nice Respite After the Bustle of Hanoi”

We had the most wonderful 3 days with Luong at An Phu Homestay. After the hustle and bustle of Halong and Cat Ba, we knew from the moment we stepped out of our taxi and into An Phu homestay, that we had struck gold. Luong and his family are some of the warmest, friendliest and welcoming people we have met in Vietnam. Luong helped us arrange two gorgeous days of excursions and trips to Trang An, Mua Cave, Dinh Binh, and the Coc Phuong National Park. But more than this, staying in his little oasis in the small village outside Ninh Binh, surrounded by ricefields and the phenomenal karst landscape was a highlight on its own. The bungalow we stayed in is in Luong's garden, beautifully set with a large shady verandah to relax on. We took the option to have breakfast and dinner at An Phu, which we had on the Verandah. Luong's cooking ranks amongst the very best we have had on our trip, and we can't recommend him highly enough. The room itself was perfect, spacious, and decorated with an amazing eye to detail. The bathroom was the best we have had on our whole trip. Thanks a million Luong, I hope we will be back one day!

Nice Homestays”

Luong (Owner) is a good and nice cook. He cooked the dinner and breakfast for my family. Luong has the farm in the home stays, there is many fresh and organic vegetables. Even the welcome drinks ~ orange juice is very fresh and good. As my father want to eat the fresh salad vegetable in his farm, Luong accept our request immediately and serve us during dinner. Luong helped us to book the private car from Halong bay to Ninh Binh and Ninh binh to Hanoi. He suggested that we could go to Trang An for sightseeing. Thanks for his suggestion to let us have a good memory in Ninh Binh. All the equipment in homestays are new. It lets us feel comfortable, like in our home.

The host family are so friendly can't do enough for you. The food and service is fantastic. The scenary around the area is stunning and with it being a quiet place easy to navigate on a moto for those of us which value our lives

De la gare ferroviaire de Ninh Binh, un taxi nous a emmené au "homestay" (il a trouvé sans problème). Accueil très trsè symlpathique par Luong et son épouse, avec un délicieux jus de fruit frais. Séjour de 2 nuits. Chambre familiale très spacieuse, agréable, bien équipée et nickel. Grande salle de bain, avec douche italienne. Renseignements et plan donnés par Luong à l'arrivée. Possibilité de prêt de vélos gratuits et de location de scooters. Délicieux petit déjeuner. Possibilité de dîner sur place le soir : un vrai régal pour les papilles. Repas préparé à 4 mains par Luong et son épouse. Possibilité de donner son linge, récupération ultra-rapide. Et cerise sur le gâteau : une douche le soir avant le départ pour Hué, après une grosse journée de vélo et de marche. Que dire : mille mercis Luong pour tout, votre accueil et surtout votre extrême gentillesse. Une adresse à ne pas manquer sur Ninh Binh.

Emplacement calme à la campagne, proche de Ninh Binh et des sites remarquables à visiter; Luong et sa femme sont très accueillants, leurs conseils pour visiter la région sont avisés, leur cuisine est excellente.
