Lovely room, beautiful location, but three times we tried to eat dinner in the first floor restaurant and were told it was full. Each time, the place was completely empty. The Japanese restaurant upstairs gave us the same excuse...the place had one couple at a table. There is literally nowhere else to eat around, and we ended up with rice crackers and peaches we bought across the street. Breakfast was excellent, however.

Outstanding breakfast buffet”

Good for self-driving tour with spectacular sea view. Near dining and shopping districts but its own breakfast buffet is impressive enough. Kushiro is a "must-have" stop-over for Eastern Hokkaido exploration in any season.

Centrally located in Kushiro”

This hotel is conveniently located in Kushiro city center. Hotel rooms are OK. It's suitable for a short stay.

Helpful Staff and the end of the world”

In Kushiro, there are 2 areas where to stay: near the station or at the river. This one is on the river with sea view and a little bit away from the red light district. I had to do some unexpected business, and the reception staff was very helpful with printing, scanning and faxing service.

Lovely hotel, excellent service, great breakfast”

Lovely hotel with a nice room overlooking the seaport. We enjoyed the excellent variety of food served at breakfast. Staff were super helpful with our hire car, dinner recommendations and bookings and advice on places to visit. A convenience store close by, as well as places to eat. Not too far from the station. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent Hotel”

The hotel was the grand finale of our 10-day trip in Hokkaido. Kudos to Megumi-san for looking after us, and making our stay a memorable one. It was really refreshing to have someone speak English. She was very helpful in assisting us at the Wagyu Restaurant, where we had difficulty in placing one order without beef & seafood . We shall certainly recommend this hotel to our friends.

Worth the little bit more”

Stayed 1 night. Location awesome, caught Crane Bus tour from across the road (and had dinner) at MOO. Hotel also sold us the tour tickets, and staff provided email support in advance of my trip - for which I am heartily thankful as my emails to the highway bus company had gone into a junk folder...disaster averted! Very accommodating for tourists and their needs. A bit pricier, but this is a very 'sleek' motel - worth it for service and location. Note: I did not use any motel facilities so cannot comment on their restaurants. They did have a piano playing in one as we walked past :p

Big, quiet room with great view”

We enjoyed a great stay because of the large and comfortable room, the great view of the coast (over the harbour) and mountains beyond and the good sea foods at the nearby restaurants, including Fisherman's wharf. We would go to the same hotel again.

VERY COMFORTABLE HOTEL AND THE BREAKFAST SPREAD IS GOOD. STAFF ARE ALL VERY FRIENDLY AND ATTENTIVE. EASY ACCESS TO TOURIST SPOT AND MANY EATERIES AROUND. GOOD CHOICE.

Comfortable hotel, good service, nice view”

The room was fairly spacious and had a full set of amenities. A pleasant and comfortable environment. The only disadvantage of a riverside location is the accessibility from the train station. Walking takes 20 minutes in snowy weather and 30 if you have luggage, as we did.

All in all very satisfied with out stay! Unfortunately the Internet connection was not very stable and dropped out quite often, but apart from that, everything else was really perfect!
