Great for Aoshima and a coastal drive”
Great place, friendly place. Good restaurants in hotel and near. Fantastic for walk to Aoshima island. Disappointed that the indoor pool was not open for swimming. Was able, if so wished to take photos for Instagram in a 2 hour session, but not for going in the water. There is a bus for getting around, every hour or so. Having a car was better, but not absolutely necessary.

A safe choice for a moderately priced hotel. Excellent view of ocean and Aoishima Island from the room. We arrived at one of the worst weather conditions ever happened to this area and dining options was none outside the hotel as a result. We have to use the overflow parking in the first night.

Pleasant stay for me n my 7 months baby”
Love the big window view from hotel room early in the morning. Baby loves the view too. We took the 2 single bed room for 2 adults and a baby. A babycot is not necessary as the bed is big enough and very comfy. Staff are attentive. Greeted us and showed us the nearest parking space upon arrival.

Great hotel outside Miyazaki city”
This hotel is located very near Aoshima island where you can rent a bicycle or stroll there to see the famous Devil Washboard and a beautiful shrine on the island. If you want to be in the city, this hotel is about 20 minutes by car away from the city center. However, it’s a very nice hotel with good onsen. I didn’t dine at the hotel. However, really like the local seafood restaurant across the hotel. Seafood is fresh and good price. They also have an near perfect English speaking staff to take your order. I’ve spent 3 nights here and really enjoy the stay. Room is American standard size, so it’s big as well as the beds. If you have a car, which I think anyone staying this far from Miyazaki city would have to rent a car, there’s free parking for guests. Good hotel indeed.

Spectacular Seaview from Room but Customer Service should be Improve”
- Able to see great seaview from room - Near to the Aoshima Shrine - Spacious room - Onsen is just ok which no outdoor bath - But it is unacceptable to have no fresh milk to buy after using onsen between 9-11pm. The milk sold by reception counter closed at 9pm, but the milk is sold out at the vending machine.

Extended my stay ”
I’d been on the road round Japan for a 2.5 weeks before I arrived here, and it was the perfect spot to relax. The hotel is really comfortable and we were upgraded to a top floor deluxe room. There’s a nice stretch of beach in front of the hotel and our view was great, during both rain and shine (it was October) The staff were very helpful and opened the gym for me three times even though it was supposedly closed for the season (no idea why). The communal baths were very nice although there wasn’t an outdoor tub. The breakfast was a festival of slimy Japanese food horror, and not worth the money (you could get cooked egg and bread admittedly). Far better for food, dinner in this case, was the Chinese restaurant on the ground floor. The snack stands on the beach were better for lunch, along with Bon Delice and the burger and Mexican trucks nearby. A beach holiday is never going to feel totally right for me in Japan, owing to the expense and the lack of the chilled vibe you get in Thailand or India, but my stay in Miyazaki nevertheless hit the spot.

Very large room, in premier ocean view room. ”
Room was air/con but needed heat instead of cool mode. Instead opened windows for sound of sea and warmer temperatures. Had to repair a button and fronto accommodated with a sewing kit. Buffet breakfast was varied with a combination of both Western and Japanese foods, and set up in a fashion that could accommodate a large crowd at one time. A wonderful experience of relaxation with nice walks, scenery, and easily accessible to the city of Miyazaki via public transportation if you wanted a city experience. Because of the season in which I visited, difficult to find a place for dinner, so one day had a heavy lunch and brought back food to the room for supper and the great sea views from the room.

Fantastic hotel with onsen”
I love the fact the hotel has their own onsen. Hence it was very convenient to stay in the hotel since we could use the onsen at anytime. If I ever come to Miyazaki, I will definitely go back to this hotel

Have a beautiful ocean view and onsen hotel ”
The hotel have beautiful ocean view and nearby the beach, if you want to walk the beach, you should stay in this hotel. At the beginning, I booked the Japanese style as there was no other type of room to chose. When I arrived the room, I found that the floor was dirty. So, I requested to change to the western style, the staff was friendly and changed it for me as soon as possible. She told me that the charge was same no matter Japanese and western style ( the charge is different when you make reservation in the intranet). The location is far away from the city of Miyazaki. If you want to go to the Aeon market, Miyazaki museum or shopping street, you better to travel by driving which take 30 minutes at least. The facilities need to be charge if you want to use no matter swimming pool or gym room. Onsen fee is need to pay no matter you go there or not.

Great place for supreme seaview! A bit hard to communicate with some staff but the manager could speak English pretty well. That will be the choice for us if we visit Aoshima again in the future. We made a special request for double bed in advance but they said it was not available when we check in.
