Impeccable”
We found ourselves at Anda Cove by pure chance but from the time we made our booking to our departure, our expectations were always met and exceeded. A day after we made our reservation, we received an informative welcome email from the resort manager Joyce. She was very quick to respond and ably assisted with our other enquiries. Checking-in was a breeze and the beauty of the place simply amazed us. The proprietors have done a perfect job in creating an airy layout with a good mix-use of local and advanced building materials. Both the reception and café areas were tastefully decorated with antiques of Asian and Filipino touches. Our room was at the ground floor with a superb view of the ocean and the nice seating area outside was just what we needed to laze the days away. The over-all aesthetic of the property was extended to the comfortable bed and high-end bathroom fixtures. We only had two days left in Bohol and Joyce was very kind to offer a guided hike to Anda’s highest peak called “Blue Heaven.” It was indeed a wonderful gesture and we hope to return the favor when she visits Manila. We were also accompanied by the owners’ daughter Azzy and the hike was the highlight of our stay, capped by a refreshing swim at Anda Falls. Anda Cove’s white sandy beach and crystal waters are a dream. It was interesting to observe the local fishermen go about their activities especially in the mornings. The resort actively supports the local community with projects through their organization Leaders for Change. Servings during breakfast were huge with good local and international selections plus fresh juice and fruits. Dinner was similarly satisfying especially on our last night. Staff members Francis and Melda were also very attentive during mealtimes. We knew that we made the right choice when choosing Anda for a relaxing holiday away from the noise of more touristy Panglao. True to its name, it was Anda Cove Beach Retreat that gave us the respite that we needed from

Perfect Beach Holiday”
Anda Cove Beach Retreat is one of the best beach holiday experienced for me. If your looking for a remote beach place where you can be alone and swim like a mermaid, this is the place. Going there is quite an adventure. You can enjoy approximately 2.5 hrs. drive by car along Bohol Circumferencial Road and have few stops in few towns before like Jagna on you way to Anda. It is best to drive in the morning to easy find your way around. The beach view is perfect especially during sunrise or sundown best stress reliever. You will be staying in a room with a great ocean view and comfortable atmosphere. The pool is good and clean which my son enjoyed swimming . The food was amazing especially the mouth watering buffet and must tried stone oven pizza. Hotel staffs were very friendly and showed geniune service for a relaxing and momerable stay. This place is a little paradise anyone should try.

Perfect retreat in Anda!”
We had a truly delightful stay at Anda Cove. The owners and staff made us feel extremely welcome- we greatly appreciate their hospitality and efforts to make our time in Anda very special. Paul and Orchille went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We really felt at home there, and will certainly return for another stay! Also, the food was delicious, the bed and room very comfortable, and the service impeccable! The beach was on-sight, and excellent snorkeling directly offshore. Lionfish, many clownfish, beautiful coral, and other unique aquatic life await being explored! We had a lot of fun using the resort kayaks to enjoy the Anda coast as well. My wife and I highly recommend staying at Anda Cove Beach Retreat... Many fond memories and relationships with the staff were made! For the best of what Anda has to offer, chose Anda Cove Beach Retreat!

Exceptional Stay - Highly recommended”
It was our first time in the Philipines. Looking for simple & quiet resort (away from tourist areas) with reasonable price. Didn't expect Anda Cove turn out to be this nice. Unlike any other resort hotels with fancy swimming pool, tennis court, Anda Cove is quiet place with spectacular ocean view - I can actually sit there for days reading or laying down on the hammock or watching stars on beach/balcany. Owner Paul and his wife Orchille, and Joyce the hotel admin are super friendly. All the staffs are friendly and not commercial (being helpful not coz of money, tips). Anda Cove is in fact a social enterprise the hotel profit will be used to help local poverty (http://www.leadersforchange.org/). Special thanks to Andy from England, the hiking guide recommended by Paul. Andy had family visited and didn't have time for tours during our stay. Ended up he provided us free ride, breakfast bag arranged (by hotel) and clear direction to Blue Heaven. Everyone there is like a family and I would highly recommended Anda Cove for a getaway vacation! P.S. You will receive an email by Paul upon hotel booking. It contains all info needed for you to travel there. It took us P20/head (TAG airport to bus terminal on tricycle) + P1500/head (GTExpress Van, they charged us extra for luggage without telling us till we off the bus - but delivered us right in front of hotel gate)

A quiet resort to relax and recharge!”
Anda Cove Beach Retreat is a quiet ten room resort with their own private beach. It is a two hour drive from the airport, but definitely worth it for the privacy, peace and quiet. My wife, 27 yr old son and his wife stayed for three nites. We were very happy with the service and our stay. We did the Countryside Tour from 9AM to 5PM, offered by the resort, and added the zip lining as part of our tour with thanks to the driver for making the extra stop! The river boat luncheon was awesome, as was the visit to see the Tarsier and Butterfly exhibits. The resort will arrange transfers to and from the airport. Our total bill for three nites, food, drinks, airport transfers, all day tour and kayaking was less than we'd spend for just a couple of nites at a resort in Hawaii! One recommendation we have is do the kayaking or snorkelling early or late to avoid the choppy waves. There is only one double and one single kayak.

A Hidden Gem in Anda”
Anda is a quiet and remote place with beautiful beaches and wonderful people. Compared to Alona or other spot in Panglao, Anda is less touristy and more relaxing. The little town is quite spread out, so to get to this place, you either need a driver or have a motorbike rented. Having that said, Anda Cove is a great place to stay in Anda. The rooms are on a cliff with a big balcony overlooking the sea. The interior of the rooms is simple and tasteful with a lot of natural light. The rooms and the ensuite bathroom are spacious and very clean. Staff at this place are very helpful and friendly. The best part about this resort is the beach where you can snorkel and see corals and fishes. At night, they lit up the place with lights on the tree, it looks absolutely romantic. On a clear night, you can lay on the beach and watch the stars(literally millions of them). Also, the breakfast of this place is really good! So, if you are looking for a slower pace holiday with privacy and great ambiance, Anda Cove is the place to be. For me, it was the definitely 3 wonderful nights in Anda Cove.

perfect place to discover Bohol”
The Anda Cove is just 4km away from Bohol. Rent a motorcycle and tour the island. The roads are safe and straight (very few cars who drive probably slower than you on your motorbike!). Anda Cove has a very pretty private beach, accessible and usable even at low tide. White sand, very soft, comfortable long chairs. The food is good, even if the service is slow, but that's the case in most places in the Philippines. The personnel is adorable, trying to help as much as they can. The hotel is comfortable, and the rooms are big. If you want to party, stay in Panglao (island near Tagbilaran), but if you want to have beautiful sights and then fun in the evening in good simple restaurants, come to Anda! Definitively a place to go to!

If you are looking for a quiet relaxing place away from the crowds this is the place for you.”
After some initial trepidation as we bumped our way down the road to Anda Cover Beach Resort we were extremely happy with our stay. Plusses: Clean comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff, small uncrowded resort, relaxing massages, amazing views, fabulous swimming pool and awesome beach for snorkeling. Minuses: Long (2 hour) car ride from the airport, not much to explore within walking distance of the resort Neutral: While the food (mainly Western style) was quite good after breakfast, lunch and dinner there a few days it can get quite repetitive. We tried to find other places to eat but given the location this was quite difficult. Overall we were really happy with Anda Cove. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing place away from the crowds this is the place for you.

Fantastic place! Nice snorkeling, good food, awesome views and friendly staff!”
This is simply one of the nicest place I have been to. The location is superb for relaxation and we spent three out of four days at the resort just snorkling, beach and pool. The food is also very well prepared. At first I was disappointed with the snorkling straight from the beach but after a few turns I found that I hadn't gone out far enough. The coral held clown fish, starfish, blow fish. I spotted a stonefish while swimming back so I would recommend swimming shoes or that you are careful where you put your feet. The view from the rooms are superb. The location is remote and there are no tricycles waiting to pick you up so if you want to go somewhere you will have to either call your own drive or use the resort services. These might be a bit pricey, although I never asked the price for a one way tricycle to for example Anda town. The resort can hook you up with a driver that can take you around the area for a full day for 1500 pesos. I would go again if ever back to Bohol!

Great resort with some great brick oven pizza!”
Anda cove is a gem of a place. Great place to get away from the crowds of Panglao and is worth the 2 hour travel to get there. It's a very scenic drive. We had 16 family members staying 3 days and everyone had a wonderful relaxing time. There were no other guest aside from our own family so we had the resort all to ourselves. Their brick oven pizza is the best pizza we had throughout the 6 islands we visited in the Philippines. The rest of the food was pretty good also. I think we ordered everything on their menu since it is a bit of hassle to go into town with so many of us. I was never an ube fan but their ube shakes were great. All their staff was fantastic. My brother, sister and cousin wanted to go back there. While checking in the first night, I met Bigg's from Amun Ini Resort (also a very nice resort) and she invited my daughter and I to scuba at their resort. Great view from rooms, dinning area and pool. We all had an awesome time there.

Paradise found!!”
We stayed for 5 nights because we had heard the 2 hour ferry & the 2-3hours to get to Anda was draining on little kids so we decided to stay longer. We wished we stayed another few nights. We did the tarsiers, chocolate hills, suspension bridge, man made forest, river cruise for lunch as well as the snorkeling trip & there was so much more we could have done. I am bummed we missed out on the fireflies but that will be for next time. There definitely will be a next time as this place was heaven. The staff were fantastic & the meals were delicious!! Breakfast was a delight & the dinners were AMAZING! We stayed at the resort for every meal because the food was so good. The beds were comfortable & the beach was pristine! So nice to see a place that trash has not killed everything & this was definitely the case here! Everything was so clean & as a 25 week pregnant mum with 2 active boys I could not be more happy that we found this gem! The boys were sad to leave as were we!

Absolutely sublime!”
The staff were on point and catered to all of our needs. The breakfast was delicious. The beach was perfect. The pool was spectacular. The pizza was perfect. The view was breathtaking. This property exceeded our expectations! We only booked our room for three days and were so captivated by the retreat we never left. The shuttle service was comfortable and and the drivers were courteous and professional. We still cannot get over the view from the pool and our balcony!

Fantastic peaceful getaway ”
Great hotel and staff overlooking a stunning cove with infinity pool.. Breakfast was great too. We would have liked to have stayed there longer but time didn't allow. It's a world away from busy Alona beach. Dark curtains would have helped for a longer sleep though but it was again a great view 👌😎

Exceptional”
Cynthia Lloren, Manila Philippines I love this place. What you see on the photos is what you get. Room I love it with the balcony overlooking the beach. Dinner under the stars at the balcony amazing. Service is fast. The beach fantastic. Quiet and solitude you will surely experience it. Staff oh they are awesome, respectfully, excellent service, the waiters and waitresses, they are gracious and one staff named francis, harvey, ryan pauline, jessa and everyone I commend you, you are all great. The food is great. My recommendations, should have a phone in each room for guest to call reception in case we need something. And more movie channels on your TV. Compliemntary bottled water. Otherwise, everything is great. Definitely I will come back again to this resort.

The best Pizza in Bohol”
Beautiful Hotel with a quiet white sandy beach and the best wooden pizza in Bohol. The staff is very kind and helpful, so they made us to feel at home. I recommend this Hotel 100%.

A quiet place in which to relax”
Stunning views out across the ocean from all rooms, amazing wood oven pizzas and friendly staff made our 6 days here really relaxing and enjoyable. The resort is a little off the beaten track, so great if you want to relax and unwind away from the crowds. There's still plenty to do - snorkelling on the reef, turtle watching, kayaking, a trip to Lamanoc island - but it's definitely not close to the main tourist attractions on Bohol (although day trips can be organised by the staff). The kids loved the pool, and the made to order wood oven pizzas were to die for!

Holiday with friends!”
This hotel is excellent value for money. My friends were worried that it was 'dry' with no alcohol, but on arrival we were told that new management had got rid of this policy and they were all very happy that they could have a beer! It felt like we had the place to ourselves; the rooms are spacious and the beach is stunning. It would have been nice to have a hot shower... The pizzas are amazing, and they had some good coffee going on, but the breakfast menu could do with a revamp. The staff were great! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Excellent”
The resort is a perfect get away if you like peace and quiet. I love that the resort is small (only 8 rooms), so it's very relaxing without a large crowd and noise. I also love the simple, terraced, airy architecture of the hotel. The rooms are very spacious, clean and thoughtfully designed. There is no TV though and wifi/mobile signal is poor. The beach front is small but exclusive and still pristine, perfect for lounging on the beach. Menu selection is limited but the pizza is good. Over all, i would love to return to this hotel with friends and family.
