Superb stay ”
Stayed for 2nights. Upon booking I requested a top floor, quite room and that is what I got. Dont recommend this if you struggle with stairs as the staircase is very narrow and no lift, but I didn't mind. Lovely room, clean, comfy bad and pillow. No outside noise whatsoever. Walls are very thin though, so you can hear your neighbor's, which could be annoying if they are loud, but I was lucky and had a peaceful stay. Best hotel I stayed around Kings Cross, would definitely recommend

Excellent overnight stay”
Excellent hotel, very clean, great location (only a few hundred yards to King’s Cross/St Pancras). Would definitely recommend if needing somewhere cheap and accessible in the King’s Cross area.

Room 304”
Stayed for two nights. Location brilliant, step out of Kings Cross and you're there. Hotel situated by a grassed area surrounded by trees, basket ball pitch. Busy area! Greeted in hotel by friendly receptionist (open 24 hours). Room very small, shower and toilet a squeeze, albeit very clean, and the bedding and towels very white.... Nice. Room met our needs for the 2 nights. Definitely consider another stay when visiting the "Big Smoke" again.

Great Hotel with very kind staff. They did start cleaning the room next to me at 9 am which was a little annoying following by knocking on my door for room cleaning at 9:30. Other than that great experience. room was small but the beds were unbelievably comfortable

Compact, well appointed, clean hotel”
This is a basic hotel, the premises are well presented and clean. The room was snug. For a short stay the ideal budget premises. Breakfast off site at a sister hotel was good value. Close to all transport links.

Great location but tiny as it can be and barely no noise isolation.”
The walls are as thin as possible and from 6am you are awakened by all the different alarms that are in the rooms around you.

Tiny room, no elevator.”
The room and bathroom were both very small. I knew from a review there wasn't a lift. This would not be a problem for us except we were on the top floor and were not informed there were 2 different sets of stairs. We carried 2 suitcases up 4 flights of stairs only to find our room wasn't there. It was then we found out there is a different set of stairs for some rooms. This meant another trip up 4 flights of stairs with heavy suitcases. There are no signs indicating the different sets of stairs and the manager neglected to inform us when we checked in. He did make a half hearted offer to help with our suitcases or for us to leave them in the very small reception room and take out our necessary items. We refused his offer but wished we hadn't after lugging them up 4 sets of very narrow stairs twice. The room was clean and close to St Pancras station and the surrounding area was very pleasant.

great location ”
My room was on the grand floor just in the back of the reception. We heard very clearly when people walked on the street and talking. Very noisy and could not have a good sleep. Luckily we just booked the room for one night. Hotel is on a good location, also provides free water.

Best London city-trip location so far!”
As I was in London for a University conference followed by a more touristic visit to the city, Angus hotel was located just perfectly. Not only for the lovely Bloomsbury area but also because the King's Cross/St Pancras train and underground stations are at a very close walking distance (2mins) which is perfect for tourists arriving by train. The staff was very friendly and always available. The room was quite small, but was cleaned up every day. It is a pity that the hotel does not provide breakfast, but then again, there are lots of nice breakfast places close to the hotel.

Great little place”
Great location for Kings Cross and St Pancras stations; and Kings Cross underground. Literally 1 to 2 minutes to walk there, if that. At the same time incredibly quiet - no noise from the main road during the day or at night, being just one road back. Mattress, bedding and towels very good. Ensuite very clean and smart. Good shower and hot water. Rooms very small but a minor consideration given the comfort and location. No breakfast. I paid £140 a night - which is a lot! - but I did only book about two days beforehand. I think it's possible to pay about half of that if booked well in advace. Overall a clean smart comfortable and quiet little place. Just need to book at the right time to get a good price.

Great value for money”
In London for 3 days, 2 nights, this hotel was perfect. Situated 2 minutes away from St Pancras Station (with access to most underground lines), walking distance from Camden Market and the British Library. The hotel itself is situated in front of a small park in a really quiet street, it is small but perfectly formed. We had a room on the top floor, that was small but had everything you need for a 2 night stay. Also small the bathroom was clean. Fresh towels, shampoo and hairdryer provided. Overall, I would stay again at this hotel as it was perfect for a city break.

Excellent”
Very well located for Kings Cross and St. Pancras stations. Small double room but fine for one person. Friendly staff. No lift if your luggage is heavy. Full en suite with shower - best if you are slim. Great if you arrive in London late evening or leave early in morning.

Public Transportation within reach”
The hotel is about 5 to 10 min away from Kings Cross and St. Pancras Station. Public transportation such as tube (more than 5 lines) and buses are readily available. The room though is very small, the toilet even smaller. 2 luggage and you will have no space to walk. The bed is also small, just enough for 2 people. For the price, I would have expected a slightly bigger room. But the location of the hotel is unbeatable. Took the tube (Picadilly Line) from the airport (about an hour). Lifts at King's Cross station made it easy. Only concern is that there are NO LIFTS in this hotel and the rooms are up until 4th floor. They do have a spacious luggage room should you wish not to bring your luggage up to the 4th floor or to store your luggage after check out, prior to departure.

Great room, well located.”
The room was immaculate, must have been recently decorated. Loved the colour scheme. The ensuite also was gleaming and very clean. Although the room was small it had everything you would need for a few days in London. There is no lift and we were on the top floor so you have to be reasonably fit! The staff at the entrance desk were very helpful. A few minutes from Kings Cross, and lots of places to get breakfast in the vicinity.
