Great place right at the edge of Ba Be Lake. Beautiful views and the host made us delicious dinner upon request. Very accomodating in general.

Taking shower requires bending over a sink. A room made out of basement. Had much better rooms in Vietnam at lower cost.

Great View ”
We enjoyed our stay at Anh Ngoc guesthouse. The room was very large and had a great view of the lake. There was also a lovely seating area outside overlooking the lake. The room however had not been cleaned when we got there and the was a particularly bad smell in the bathroom. The staff did try and clean the room to remove the smell but it still lingered for the duration of our stay. The food served was nice but basic and a little overpriced for the quality. Overall we found our stay enjoyable.

Die Lage des Guesthouse ist direkt am See, von der Terrasse hat mein ein wirklich schönes Panorama. Am besten war aber der Service. Die Familie hat für uns die Fahrt von Cao Bang direkt zu Ihnen organisiert, ohne umsteigen und Pausen, das hat einen viel Stress erspart. Des weiteren haben sie probiert einem alle wünsche zu erfüllen. So haben wir nur gefragt, ob sie Melone da hätten, da würde zum Abend eine vom Markt besorgt oder nach einer Wanderung haben wir gesagt, dass wir sehr hungrig sind, haben sofort essen bestellt (1 Menü reicht auch für zwei und wird komplett frisch zubereitet), was aber meist eine Stunde braucht. In der Zwischenzeit haben wir kostenlosen frischen grünen Tee und Kekse bekommen. Die Familie ist wirklich sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind sehr einfach. Aber man hat eine Klimaanlage, heißes Wasser und eine westliche Toilette. Einziger Minuspunkt sind die steinharten Betten, auch für asiatische Verhältnisse.
