A well spent New Year! 🎉”
Me and my boyfriend spent our first new year’s eve together and this place was breathtaking! From the infinity pool to the beach 😍😍😍 the food was delicious, staffs are approchable & friendly, the place is definitely a high-maintenance type of hotel and everything is accessible thru the phone and the foods are pricey but delicious so it’s worth every penny. 😉 Although I might have a few tiny suggestions In the room we stayed with, * There are 2 shower heads, the other one is working somehow but needs replacement and the other is not. Maybe consider on one shower head instead? Or it’s just me to not having an idea on how to use shower heads properly 😅 * adding a heater would be nice *also the distance between the toilet, the sink and the door are too close from each other, might want to re-design your bathroom layout. Anyways, everything was nice we love the party at the bar at new year’s eve, the free drinks & chips and the countdown at the inifinity pool and the short fireworks display. Booked our stay 15mins before check-in since biglaang staycation lang. No hassle at all, even after check-out. They even let us use all the facilities after we surrendered the keys. Superb stay. If you have experienced Shangri-la resort, you can compare Awari to it. Sarap ng food (buffet) and mababait ang mga staff. We'll be back for sure!!!

It is a beautiful resort with very accomodating and friendly staffs, their food is so good and the fresh fruit shakes as well! Cold chocolate drink is so good too. Overall we are very satisfied we stayed in this resort! we will definitely come back in the future. :)

Relaxing stay and beautiful scenery”
Hotel has prepared something extra for me when we ask them to assign us on a beautiful room since i will be celebrating my birthday in their place. When we arrived, they've put up a Happy Birthday decor in our room and even mange to add some balloons. And their breakfast, though ala carte on our 1st day, they've given us fresh and tasty fruits. Will definitely come back here. I love the place, not very crowded. My husband and i were able to relax and enjoy their infinity pool.

GREAT EXPERIENCE ”
The room is quite expensive but everything is compensated by the staff., facilities and the cleanliness. They are all so nice and very accommodating. The ihaw package is the best we experienced. The diving, jet ski are superb esp the diving guides. Even before reaching Anilao Awari, we had an exceptional meeting with the Mabini Tourism staff and with the one who conducted swab testing.. Anilao”
I was disappointed with my stay because I made reservation for 4 people (2 rooms)in the bayview area and I guess staff didn't realize that there's 3 women and 1 guy. We cannot be accomodated because there are only queen sized beds in the bayview area. What your staff did was to put us 3 women in the hillside cottage with extra charge and my nephew was left in the bayview cottage. The switch caused a tremendous impact on my knee because we have to go up and down the steps and the worst thing that happened to me was I didn't enjoy my stay at all since my knee got swollen and I stayed in bed the 2nd day.And furthermore was I was told my money (charge ?) would be refunded in a week. And the food that you served is so salty and since there are no places around, food should be improved . Thanks ! Edelwina Avecilla, NY, USA

10% service charge on everything”
Probably the best hotel in anilao, in terms of location and facilities, and neighboring hotels. Nice that pool is open til 10am and bar is open til 3am. Food and tours are overpriced. Room rates are overpriced as well. Apart from 10% surcharge on basically everything. Brekafast buffet is so-so. Having stayed in various resorts, I was expecting the food to be better considering the price we paid.

Pro: Beautiful place, beach front property. Cons: Too many stairs as with other resorts in Anilao. Food is overpriced. You can bring chips and water only as told by front desk.

A nice resort but a lot of service charge”
The resort environment is quite nice it's near the sea but not a beach. The service and staffs are all good. However, they love to charge service charge a lot. For check-in, dine in the restaurant, book any boat trip they all have extra 10% service charge. My family booked a boat trip to sombrero island it was enjoyable with a beautiful sunset. Just you need to pay for the whole boat price (10 people price). The room is clean and tidy just to remind the water for bath is a bit salty I think it's diluted sea water.

Great potential, bad execution”
The facilities are beautiful, but the room was poorly maintained. The whirlpool tub did not work. The room was full of ants. The chef was horrible and the bar could not even make a tasty fruit slush. The pool was large but was not kept up...there was algae all along the sides of the pool. The staff was nice, but their policy of bringing in absolutely 0 outside food or drink is unreasonable. As a Western traveler in Philippines I drink a good quantity of bottled water. Not being able to bring in water is a mistake. We actually checked out a day early even without a refund.
