Anson Bay Lodge”

We enjoyed our unit. There were few other travellers but we had rented a car (a must as there is much to discover) and we out each day. There is lovely pomelo and orange trees at the back and it supplied our daily juice. Only thing I missed was a small brush and pan to pick up the crumbs! Highly recommended. Our unit had an extra room with an extra double and single bed. Go to Norfolk island and enjoy the difference.

Very good”

Quiet location only minutes from Captain Cook memorial and national park walks. The drive to and from town is lovely (and doesn't take long as Norfolk Is is only small). Nearby Puppy's Point is the perfect place for a sunset picnic. A simply, clean and comfortable cottage - all you need for a short relaxing holiday.

Tranquil”

We stayed in the larger of the two cottages. They are basic but comfortable with a lounge and dining area, a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Set on acreage away from the road, which doesn't have a lot of traffic, it was peaceful and quiet. You can hear the birds calling and the breeze in the palms. The management is very friendly and helpful and provides a car. We paid $40 a day. The island is not large, but still has about 170 km of scenic roads. The Lodge is about 10 mins away from the shops at Burnt Pine. Worth the small effort to be in such pleasant surroundings.

we found the place was cold because of lack of sun, Also some of the bed linen seriously needed upgrading. good kitchen facilities.
