Awesome owner!! Awesome hostel!! Awesome location!!”

I booked this hostel for two nights and thought it is just a stopover during my cycletrip around Japan. Well, these two nights turned out to be 33 nights! The owner Toshi and Fu are amazing and I felt very well at this place! Pacific Ocean, beach and surfing! Went swimming every morning. Just a few minutes to the nice beach. I experienced Aoshima as a very peaceful relaxed place. Just what I was lookIng for.

Beach house vibes ”

Favourite guesthouse in Japan. A very relaxing atmosphere thanks to volunteer staff and owner, Toshi. A short ride to Japan’s popular surfing spots on the Nichinan coastline. Rentable package of bikes, wetsuits and surfboards for 2000 yen per day. Beach house vibes with traditional futon mattress bedding, kitchen access, shower. Grocery and convenience stores nearby. Less than a 5 minute walk to Aoshima Station.

Very nice guesthouse to stay Aoshima t”

This guest house is located at nice place to go to the beach and Aoshima island. We can ride a bike to go around the Aoshima beach. It is no charge. The staffs are very kind and gentle. But toilet is small. I was so happy to stay there.

The kitchen,toaster,fridge,etc. is not clean.it seems to be a diving shop in South Asia,not a guest house in japan.and the price is not cheap during low season,in winter,now.

Best place to stay in Aoshima !!!”

My experience at this hostel was awesome !! Andre, the manager, is the best ! We cooked and enjoyed few drinks with him and other guests, the atmosphere is so special and the hostel is situated just one minute from the beach and Aoshima island. You need to stay there absolutly !!

Nice little guest house inside a japanese house. Close to the famous aoshima beach and temple and next to the JR station. The layout of the place is funky. There is no common room other than a small kitchen and you have to go through the bathroom or the dorm to reach it. The experience is still lovely and you almost feel like you re sleeping at a friend's house

Very close to the Aoshima Jinja and you can see the sunrise and sunset from the room windows which is nice. The bed was comfy and the host was also very nice.

homey feel”

nice owner and good location. i was staying in 4 ppl mix dorm for 1 night. but i didn't take a shower in there as there is no lock in the bathroom. it might really safe around this area, even no lock for the main door too. overall is good.

Really cozy place and close to the station. Staffs are nice and helpful. The facilitates in the room are a bit old and seems that not cleaning regularly but it's just a bit, totally acceptable.
