Nice little hotel for our quick stopover”

Having arrived Nagoya airport late in the day, we stopped by Hikone for a night of rest before driving to Kanazawa. Very cute little town with no tourists at all. Some restaurants and bars right outside the hotel. It's not super luxurious but we thought at least the room was bigger than in other APA hotels which I stayed at before i.e. Nagoya and Osaka.

A surprise Place near Lake Biwa”

the biggest room among all APA I have stayed, free humidifier provide at lobby. Restaurants & shops are all nearby, and open till late in Hikone, which surprise us. Lake Biwa is a beautiful place, i would love to come back again with my bicycle, just like those stayed here.

Best you can get for the money”

This APA hotel is neat, clean, friendly and has wonderfully supportive staff. Unfortunately, public transportation in the place is very scarse. But if you are ready to pay for taxis or you come on your own car, everything is fine.

Reasonably nice hotel, but not well located, unless you have a car. About 40 minutes walk to Hikone Station and Hikone Castle. Buses are infrequent. Taxis not to be found on the street. Hotel has few facilities beyond the rooms and breakfast area. Included breakfast was filling enough, very Japanese style, with fish, eggs, natto, rice, miso, etc. There are many restaurants within 5 or 10 minutes walking. No onsen or pool. Friendly staff. All things considered, overpriced for what it is. Would recommend if no options available near Hikone Station.

It’s nice to stay in a Japanese style room for a family with 2kids. Everyone can have enough space to sleep. Bathroom is big enough too. Easy to find a lot different food, also supermarket around. Very nice experience .
