Small but really clean room”
I guess all rooms in Japan is small for this price. It's a good place to stay for adults and business travelers, staff are really friendly. Wouldn't recommend for families with young kids as it's quite a walk to and from the train stations. Overall good.

small room is within expectation, but the bed is way too soft and the pillow is flat like nothing.”
Convenient location is all I could say on the plus side. Staff made mistake about my breakfast order, and insisted that it was Agoda's mistake. Lol. So I went on to buy myself breakfast and decided not letting him to ruin my vacation, but only when I finished the breakfast, and chased out to admit that me and my family should be breakfast included.

super small rooms, relatively far from any transportation”
the hotel was ok in terms of cleaning and the rooms were in a good shape. there are many apa hotels in tokyo an by mistake we took this one. the problem with this hotel is that it is far from everything, it is even 10-15 minutes walking far from every subway station, which is a lot for tokyo. the rooms are super small compare to hotels in tokyo, we know it is the apa thing but we were jot ready for this. it was hard to open a suitcase in the room. we paid around 10000 yen for a night and it is a good deal but in a second thought we would go for something closeser to the center, or at least closer to a main metro station.

Excellent Hotel in BEST Location”
Before I get to my review, it's important to know that ALL hotel rooms in Tokyo will be smaller than what most folks are used to coming from other countries. It is the largest city in the world without much real estate to expand upon! That out of the way, oon to my review. --Location: It's in a perfect spot to access most of the prime tourist areas. Metro station is a 10-min walk, plus the hotel is on a major road with buses and taxis. If you like to walk, then this is another plus. Ueno Park is a 30-min walk north. Ginza is a 40-min walk south. I encourage hotel guests to take at least one of those walks. --Hotel Room: We stayed in a double. Was a bit larger than I expected, though still a "compact Japanese" room. Bed was extremely comfy and was like sleeping on a cloud! Private bathroom with tub and shower. Heated toilet seat and bidet function. There is a fairly large in-room desk with a compact mini-fridge built in. 40"-ish LCD television, but you need to purchase VDO cards from machine in hall to watch programs. No problem--didn't go to Tokyo to sit in the room to watch movies. --Hotel Facilities: WiFi is big on everyone's list and this APA Hotel location delivers in spades! You get free WiFi in-room and throughout the hotel. Signal strength is top-notch! I stayed on the 11th floor and got consistent speeds of at least 12 Mbs. There is also a LAN jack in the room desktop outlet ports. The hotel has an on-premesis cafe that serves their breakfasts and can be used throughout the day. Not much of a selection, but enough for a quick nibble on the way out to explore. There plenty of vending machines, restaurants and convenience stores surrounding the hotel. --Staff and Service: Extremely polite and helpful. I d0odn't need much, but the 2-3 times I did, they came through big time. On day 1, we wanted to walk to Ueno Park to visit the zoo and temples. I knew the direction, but asked a staff member for suggestions. He went into the office and returned

Amazing value for money - everything you need!”
Tokyo is an expensive city, I'm sure that goes without saying. That's why we were extremely satisfied with what APA hotel offered for the price we paid. It is small like what many people said, but we have been to other parts of the world where you pay the same amount of money, get a room of the same size, but miles apart in terms of the completeness of the amenities in the room that APA hotel provides. The room is small yet had a good-sized study table, a comfy bed (the size was fine for us but might be a bit small for people larger than us), a window and a quaint bathroom with a mid-sized bath tub and a shower with good pressure and hot water (Shiseido shampoo and body wash provided). We especially loved the many little touches such as a shoe horn and a cloth sterilizing spray that came in handy, and a LAN cable and port for your laptop. Staff speaks good English and were helpful to book a sushi restaurant for us. Overall, definitely recommended for a budget stay in Tokyo.

APA Hotel Kanda Jimbocho Eki-Higashi is very well located for tourists interested to discover the various districts of Tokyo. We stayed there for a week and both the check in and check out went super smoothly. The hotel is located near by major transportations hubs in Tokyo and allowed us to visit the various districts by limiting our commuting times. Room was clean, staff helpful, quiet with near by restaurants and supermarkets. One negative point is the very weak internet from 7.00 pm onwards....almost impossible to check emails or places to visit the next days...which is a huge negative side as a tourist without local SIM card there. Because of this I would not book again as this has impacted our trip.

Exceptional”
Hotel is small but extremely clean and has everything you need. The nearest station, Ogawamachi is about 3-5min walk and about 15min walk from Akihabara/Ochanomizu station, also walkable from Kanda station (15-20min). Hotel is just few blocks from Donquijote and has several convenient stores and many eateries nearby. I only have two issues: one which is location as I need to travel on JR yamanote a lot and it is a little far from Akihabara. Two - the room we got is quite small as compared to other rooms I managed to get a peek - other rooms had better angles. Other than these two issues, I absolutely love this hotel and would recommend to anyone who doesn't have issues walking a little distance or require bigger hotel space.
