New and nice hotel”
The hotel is a bit far from the JR station but close to a public park. Room is small and each level has only one lift servicing nine floors. Breakfast has nice spread of choices.

good value for no fussing travellers”
My room is small, even to get around to do things with no air flow (although the aircon is installed). The much touted-for breakfast is, to be honest, a great disappointment, as there was not much "organic locally produced vegies" on offer. If they have difficulties keeping the level of services due to the ongoing pandemic, they should simply say so and any customer would understand, rather than pretending that your service level in terms of quality and quantity is kept somehow unaffected. I stayed at a discount rate and would not therefore feel deceived, but I would not stay at this facility at what they referred to as a "standard rate".

Small but adequate room ”
The hotel was within walking distance (10-15 min) from Mito Station. The route was not too difficult - just head north from the station along the main road till you go past a post office and then turn left at the junction. The hotel name was clearly visible from the junction. If you come from the other direction, there's a huge banner proclaiming the location of the hotel at the junction too. The streets are lined with shops and restaurants and there's a large department store a few bus stops away (or 10-15 min walk). The room was small but adequate.

Better than other budget options in Mito”
Good option in Mito. I've been a few places in Japan during summer, and Mito is the most humid I've experienced. The uphill walk from the station to this hotel in July/August may make you want to consider one closer to the station. The bed was verry nice. The bathroom was a bit old. I think it was a good value.

Our stay at the Mito APA was great! Staff were very helpful, we slept very soundly! The buffet breakfast was just as awesome! We had much to choose from: Sausages,chicken,natto,soup, rye bread, even curry!!! On our next trip this way we won't think twice about staying here!

朝食バイキングが最高で、今回2度めです。 朝食付きで予約したつもりでしたが、追加料金一人当たり600円ありましたが、断然オトク感ありです。時間制限90分ですが朝から十分スタミナ補給できたこと間違い無しです! 食事付きで予約可能かどうかは確認が必要かと。

部屋は今一つ、狭いのが難でしたが、ベッドの広さや無料のコーヒーサービス、ビールサーバーの設置など寛げること間違いないです。フロントの対応も気安く居心地はとてもよかった。

駅から徒歩10分程度。駅近といえるかは微妙な距離ですが、全体的には満足で全く問題ないです。 週末の水戸観光に２人で宿泊しましたが、ツインで一人4500円。値段もサービスも設備も十分でした。

恒例の会合時に使う定宿のひとつです。 足湯があったり、無料コーヒーがあったりと、ちょっとした心遣いがうれしいです。 残念なのは大きなお風呂がないことですが、これはないものねだりかも。
