Location is great. It is walking distance to the crowded area and JR Shinjuku station but located at a quiet neighborhood. There are a lot of places to eat around there too. There is a gyoza place right across the hotel where we always see line ups. This hotel is central heat control system with no AC. We like our room cooling but it was cold for the locals that day, so the heat was turned on. When we got back to our room, it was so warm. We opened the door and window to let the hot air out and I went to the reception to request the heat to be turn off. The lady who was assisting me went into a room and got me a fan, which I really appreciate it. We are from North America and we are used to the cold. The room we got was regular Japan size hotel. The highlight is their Onsen. It was amazing! Overall, we had a great time and will come back again.

Great value in a perfect location”
The location of this hotel can’t be beat - in a nicer part of Shinjuku, right next to the beautiful Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, with lots of subway options and a short stroll into the heart of Shinjuku’s nightlife. We were surprised by how much space we had in the room - only just big enough for two people and their suitcases, but more than you would normally get in Tokyo for that price. The non-smoking room did smell a bit like cigarettes, but they gave it an extra clean when we mentioned it - didn’t quite fix it, but the smell wasn’t bad enough to be a real problem. The only downside really was that the bathroom door only had frosted glass with a sizeable gap at the bottom, so not the most private of bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel near Shinjuku Gyoen-mae station”
I stayed for 4 nights in the single room. The room was tiny, not much bigger than the bed with a standard Japanese bathroom (bathroom/shower + sink and toilet). This is typical for Tokyo hotel rooms, so not unexpected, just be aware that you will have very limited space. Heating/cooling worked fine, and there was hot water in the shower. WiFi also worked well, and there was a huge flat screen TV on the small desk that guests can watch from the bed. I did not use breakfast or spa facilities while there. The value was very good, but perhaps the price was so low due to the coronavirus effects. I would stay here again because of the good location and competent staff.

APA Hotels Standards”
spending a weekin Tokyo we stayed every two nights in another district and choose an APA hotel. The standards are nice and always having a Spa on the roof made us feel so comfortable before bed time and relaxing after million miles walking.

It is very close to a railway station which makes travelling from the hotel to somewhere else very easy and convenient. Staffs are friendly and helpful. There is also an onsen at the basement of this hotel. The room is fairly small. Otherwise, it is definitely one of the best place to stay over.

Great Hotel at a Great Price”
Even though I stayed here for the night, I still think this hotel is good especially if you are on a budget. Since I am heading to Mt Fuji the next morning, I decided to stay near Shinjuku and this hotel didn't disappointed. The hotel is only 10mins walk from Shinjuku Express Bus Terminal. The room is a bit small but enough for me and I didn't expect to be huge in the first place. The room is extremely clean and it has everything you need. The check-in was easy and fast and the staff were friendly. I didn't stay long enough to give it a more detailed review but overall, I am happy with the stay and with the price I paid :)

They’re near the train station. Just make sure it’s the right APA Hotel because there are so many of them in the vicinity. The staff excellently arranged the transfer of my bags to the next hotel without a hitch. There is a n onsen, laundry, microwave and ice machine to service the guests.

15min way to jr shinjiku. Less than 5min walk to subway. Gonza opposite hotel was nice. You wont get hungry as food is everywhere. The staff and service was great. Will definetly stay here again for my next visit.

The hotel is very near to shinjuku gyoenmae station. Opposite the hotel got 100yen shop, gyoza restaurant. Got supermarket selling fruits ( strawberries must try ). Shinjuku is jst 10 min by walk ( you can ask the map from receptionist). - alot of famlily mart and 7eleven - laundry machine ( detergent provided ) - dryer - onsen at b1 Cons : - wifi is very slow during nite time

The staff could be friendlier. When I arrived it was raining and I was soaking wet since I didn't have an umbrella. I asked to check in early (one hour) so I could change and dry off. They would not let me without paying fee. I understand if you want to check in in the morning and you need to pay an extra fee but if you check in one hour early there shouldn't be a fee. Also it was my birthday and I wanted to look nice for photos and such. The breakfast was nice. It was buffet style with a good amount of choices. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable but the pillows were very thin. We ended up asking for more pillows which they did provide. Overall a nice place to stay but my first impression was a bit tainted because of the staff.

Room was comfortable and cozy . Staff was friendly and helpful. Onsen inside property was great. Not too crowded and shampoos are provided . Bring along your towel to the onsen. Location is at shinjuku gyeo mae , a 10 mins walk to the Center of shinjuku. Many eateries and convenient store down the street .
