Room was spacious by Jap standard. Business hotel style. Staff spoke English well. Rooms are older than the overall hotel decor. The FM radio did work! Only drawback is the bathroom. The bathtub was extremely high and not recommended for seniors. You need to do a leap to get out of the bath!

We stayed here for one night. The location is near the Station and convenience store. It has complete amenities. The room is small but it’s enough for us. I highly recommend this hotel.

Good location. Easy walk from JR station. Around hotel hv many restaurants and minimart. Staff so Friendly. Room is standard for business hotel. Room cleaning. Breakfast is only bread and coffee.

Great location”
Very easy to find, 5min from station. The hotel facility is quite basic but cater our needs. We traveled during winter month and couldnt find heater on our room, so bit cold

Great value to money”
The room is a bit small, it was difficult to place my big baggage in the room but at this price it was okay to me. Some bread and pastry being served as a complimentary breakfast. That is nice. The hotel is not too far from the station. The convenience store is just around the corner as well as many restaurants are close to the hotel.

Very good place to stay in Yamagata”
The hotel is not too far from train station, just 8-10 minutes walk or you can take the candy bus for only 2 stops. The room is nice and clean. Hotel staff can speak English, not so good, but can communicate. P.S. Soba at restaurant opposite the hotel is AWESOME!

7 mins walk from JR Yamagata Station and 20 mins walk to 文翔館. There are lots of restaurants and Izakaya nearby. The staff are nice and friendly. Free light breakfast (bread and coffee) is provided~ However, the room is small and the bath tub is too high which is not convenient.

Great location, fast wifi, cozy room, spacious bathroom”
We stayed 2 nights at APA Hotel Yamagata-Ekimae-Odori from 7th Nov to 9th Nov. The hotel situated from a walkable distance from JR Yamagata train station. The checkin-checkout procedure was fast and smooth. We were informed that we can get free small breakfast (bread + drinks) each morning which was nice (we didn't end up coming down to take it though since we don't usually have breakfast ^^"). The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. The aircon/heater was central control so we couldn't adjust temperature of the room which was a bit annoying since everytime it gets too hot we had to open the window and since the hotel is next to main road it was a bit noisy. The bathroom was surprising big but the bathtub was a bit odd the way they built it. Wifi signal was pretty good and stable. The space between the table in the room and the bed was kinda tiny so anyone with long legs would have problem sitting in that space! Overall, for the price we paid for, we were happy.

Hotel is located close to Yamagata station where you can walk 5-10 min. Breakfast is very simple just bread with jam therefore if who would like to book room with breakfast I would recommend to book without breakfast and look for breakfast outside of the hotel would be better. Room is nice and clean anyway as usual as business hotel in Japan.

Perfect location, cozy room, really lite breakfast, polite staff”
Perfect because near the station, many cafes and restaurants in he street where it is situated. Cozy room (I had a single - riptide wasn't big but I had everything I need). A little bit cold in winter, but you can turn on the air conditioner to heat the room. Breakfast is really lite: just coffee/tea and white bread with jam.
