Right in front of the station”
As the name suggests, about 50 meters from the train station. Hotel is ok, older hotel about 1/2 refurbished. Rooms are nice, toilet is older, clean but showing it’s age. The walls in the toilet are patched where cracks had formed due to age. Breakfast is ok, but not worth paying extra for. Bed was ok. A/C worked great, nice and cold. Parking is not hotel property, it’s coin parking. Hotel does not offer any discount for parking. I would probably opt to stay elsewhere if I had a choice,

The worst hotel ever! wifi doesn't work properly!!”
I Had a very bad experience with the hotel. Dirty dated disgusting room and bath. Hotel staff's attitude also very low. I'll never ever stay there again.

Great Access/Location but a Little Tight”
We spent 3N/4D perched above the JR Tsuruoka station plaza; a one minute walk across the station parking lot. Great access: the local tourist assistance desk, and the local bus terminal that provides access to Dewa Sanzan are in the same plaza. That being said, we can't recall ever hearing a train, bus or car noise in our room, which says much about the good soundproofing of the rooms. The check in desk was always friendly and helpful ( a little Japanese goes a long way). We made good use of the convenient coin laundry (washing/drying) in the lobby and like everything in this hotel, it was spotless. Free morning newspapers outside the 1st floor elevator (again, language skills helpful) were just one of the many ways this hotel looks after the small things. Environmental options for room cleaning were well appreciated. The only challenge we found during our stay was that a 6 foot male, a 5 foot 2 female and their 3 bags made things tight, but that huge TV screen! Wow.

Close to the station”
The hotel location was very close to the station. As I had to catch a very early flight from the airport, it was very convenient. It takes only a minute (or less) to the station, catching trains or catching a bus to the airport was very easy. It seems the price of this hotel varies very often according to how busy it is, when if it offers reasonable prices, I recommend this pace. Staff was kind and hotel was very clean on the whole.

New renovated hotel, clean, excellent service”
It's worth to stay here for 1 night. Location is excellent, next to eki station, although we have a car, but we found a cheap parking space 400 yen only. Hotel looks very new, room is very clean. Excellent staff service.

very convenience, very near train station and bus station, supermarket and family mart are not far. i really recommend ramen and gyoza near this hotel, for me it's really rare gem.really miss it ^^

Cigarette smelling”
Very nice hotel, except the place really stunk of cigarettes. We were put on a smoking floor so asked to move, once we moved to a non-smoking floor, we could still smell smoke. The elevator also stunk. Consider this when booking. The staff were very helpful and the hotel well equipped, this was the only downside.

Well located”
Everything is what we expected of a business hotel. The only thing was that, since it was a Japan holiday, we paid too much for a small room. The mattress was a bit worn out and my husband who has a back problem had difficulty sleeping. The staff were friendly but could hardly speak english.

Noise in Room”
We changed rooms because there was a constant loud humming noise in the room - the second room still had the noise and we were too tired to keep trying other rooms so I used ear plugs to try and sleep.

Bad air-conditioning ”
The air conditioner is out of order, but hotel claimed that they are fully booked, and offer us a fan only. They asked us to open the window if it’s too hot, but we were disturbed by the noise of the train and cannot fell asleep. We are so disappointed to have such a bad experience.

It is new but it smells like smoke even in non smoking floors . Bathrooms also smell musty face , probably because there isn't ventilation and bathtubs were installed poorly
