"If you are in Johor Bahru just to visit Legoland and do a bit of shopping at JPO, this hotel would be the beat choice. This is one of the newer hotels in the area and the rooms are the best! Downside is that the restaurants are quite far and the only food option is to done in the hotel restaurant which serves good food anyway. "

"Great place to unwind and relax... Do get a high floor and sea view room if you can so that you enjoy a breathtaking view of the Johor Straits and northern shores of Singapore... Lack of amenities and quiet location makes it somewhat inconvenient if you do not drive but otherwise as mentioned, the tranquility of the place make up for its shortcomings... As for staff, they are friendly, courteous and helpful... Facilities wise, I gave it a 3-star cause as many reviewers had earlier mentioned, the pool is really dirty. No doubt it is no fault of the hotel (dust carried by all the construction works taking place) but it definitely dampens the mood of guests when you have such a fantastic sea-facing pool but cannot use it. Hotel management should proactively work on coming up with a solution for this..."

"Great place compared to a hotel and value for your money. Only concern about checking-in. We arrived late (7pm) and having trouble checking in. Took us 30-45 minutes to go inside our room. Apparently, 1 staff from Encorp is always outside the building waiting for guests that booked a room... what if we arrived too late and that staff already went back home? I hope you can improve on this. Overall, it's all good and would still consider to book this place again when we travel to JB. Thanks."

"1) Location Very strategic location and near to many eatery places. It is 25 minutes' drive to Legoland, 35 minutes' drive to Forest City and 1 hour's drive to Desaru Fruit Farm 2) Apartment Our 2-bedroom apartment is new and clean. Towels and body soap is provided. Washing machine, clothes hangers and 2 poles are provided in the balcony to hang the clothes and towels. Water pressure is good and the water heater works perfectly. However, there is only 1 bathroom/toilet in the 2-bedroom apartment. It would be better if : a) a rubber floor mat is put inside the toilet as it can be slippery when wet. b) more toilet rolls to be provided (we were only provided 2 toilet rolls for 3 nights' stay). We informed the management on the 1st day and they promised to ask the cleaner to deliver the toilet rolls to us, but until the 4th day when we checked-out, the toilet rolls were not delivered. We had to get our own supply. 3) Check-In Procedure This can be improved as follows: a) The Hotel Management should contact the guests at least 1 day before check-in to explain on the check-in procedure. I asked Ivan a day earlier (contact as stated in Agoda) for the contact no. of his collegue who are in charge of the checking-in, as I am concerned that to transfer RM200 as deposit into UHA Management The check-in procedures was only given upon transferring RM200 4) Price The price is reasonable for a 2-bedroom apartment. "

"Booked a Deluxe room for 2 nights on 21 Sept 2019 . Location was excellant because its around 5km away from Holiday Plaza/KSL and also 5km away from City Square /JBCC. The area outside hotel is also bristling with nightspots , eateries , massage centres and convenient stores so no worries with finding places to eat or chill at night. Room is clean with good amount of space to move about , bed is a queen size and comfortable , Toilet /showers are clean and heater is in good working order. Its decent stay for a 3 star hotel at $50sgd including tax. Dun bother about the breakfast and swimming pool though. "

"Prompt reply from the host when we encounter problem with the heater. They solve it very quickly and ensure we had the best stay here. Location here is great, many foods and drinks place can found nearby. Will visit again :)"
