Apartments in Melbourne

"I'd read quite a few reviews before heading to Melbourne and was a little apprehensive about what I'd find at 'Arrow'. Now, having returned home I'm puzzled as to what the negative comments were all about! While the foyer could do with an upgrade, the location is ideal for looking around Melbourne (a 5 minute walk to Lygon Street, a 12 minute walk to Queen Vic Markets), the staff were very helpful and polite, the room was small but clean and had everything that I needed and the bathroom, while the size of a normal en-suite, was more than sufficient for taking a shower etc. The bedroom was small but the reality is, you sleep there! It doesn't have to be enormous! The sheets were crisp and clean, the mirrored wardrobe had hangers, and there was a desk/table as well as a bedside table, great bedside light and clock. While the bed was a little firm for my liking the pillows were good. Although there was some noise at night, what else would anyone expect from a hotel in the middle of a major city, next to a main thoroughfare, on a Friday and Saturday night? The noise came from outside and when the windows were closed, the noises all but disappeared. If the temperature was a problem, there was an air-conditioner. All in all, the apartment was ideal for what I wanted. If you want 5 star then stay in a 5 star establishment but if you want something at a reasonable price which is clean, convenient and comfortable, then stay at 'Arrow on Swanston'. I'll be back and would have no problems recommending it to others."

"Pros - Beautiful / clean apartment, good location as it is near to shops / trams / Melbourne Central Station / restaurants and supermarket, the Staff at Level 3 is helpful in allowing us to keep our luggage after check out, washing machine. Cons - Pots and pans need change due to wear and tear, there is no dryer for clothing after washing and no place to dry your clothing. Overall, our 1 night stay was good and satisfactory. We would definitely booked this apartment if we visit Melbourne again."

"I traveled with family and enjoyed staying at the Como Court by Crest so much. I cancelled the other hotels that I booked. So we stayed for 4 nights. The staffs are very helpful with the service with smile plus polite. The room is excellent. Cleanliness is a plus. Location is great next to the highway. Will go back to stay again for my next visit. "

"My husband & I, decided to have date night in the city as we do a few times a year , got a great deal for quest newquay a lovely clean & quiet hotel , but was very surprised as we hadn't been in the area for awhile that alot of restaurants near by were closed down .. sad to see a very vibrant area gone dead .. but our stay at quest was excellent will probably return again ..."

"We spent a long weekend in Melbourne. Had no issues with our apartment. Check in was fast & efficient, and we were shown to our apartment. It was clean and nicely presented. We were out a lot and did not use the pool or other facilities. Winston apartments are in a great location and we made good use of the trams both out front and 1 block away depending on our destination. Plenty of shops close by for coffee, meals or just the supermarket. We would be happy to stay here again if coming back to Melbourne. "

"This is my third time staying in a serviced apartment in Melbourne and I would say that Milano Serviced Apartments is the best so far. I am a clean freak in terms of bathroom cleanliness and I was rather surprised that the bathrooms of Milano were sparkling clean and the corners in the bathrooms were not infested with filth or algae growth. I checked myself into a 2-Bedroom Executive room and was glad to find myself with a spacious kitchenette, a 6-pax dining table, a leather sofa, 2 king-sized beds and 2 bathrooms (one with a shower and another with a bathtub). The room was painted in white and thus it gave a fresh feeling and the carpet did not produce a moldy feeling. The washing machine in the room was clean too and it did not leave any residue on my clothes (which happened to me in other serviced apartments). Milano Serviced Apartments was also the tallest apartment that I have ever stayed in and the view was magnificent. So much that I could even navigate myself perfectly well by looking out of my 30th floor veranda before starting my day! The location of Milano is great too. It is right in the middle of Melbourne Central and Queen Victoria Market, which made travelling to the two places easy. Also, there is an ALDI supermarket just next to Milano. No worries for grocery shopping at all! As much as it is a serviced apartment, the comfort that it provided made me feel like home more. Well done Milano!"

"Great location, well designed studio apartment, well stocked with cutlery and cooking utensils, quiet and secure. A little more attention to cleaning/dusting is required. The cupboards needed tidying/organizing. Overall a great location and apartment and I will stay there again when next in Melbourne. Better than a hotel and more comfortable."

"Firstly the hotel was located about 12minutes walk away from the train station,so it was pretty convenient. Secondly, the service at the hotel was good. the stuff there were friendly and the management even gave us a good price for our extension. Thirdly, there are a couple of awesome greek cafes and restaurants nearby which open till pretty late as compared to the normal shops in australia. Plus if you drive its convenient as it's just by the main road. And it is also near chadstone shopping centre."

"Friendly staff, beautifully quiet, great pedestrian location with a walk through the Fitzroy gardens to the CBD. I’ve stayed in several Melbourne city serviced apartments and this one was my favourite. Not the newest, not as spacious, but it’s friendly, homely, you can open the windows and beautifully positioned in East Melbournr."
