Noisy, dirty and uncomfortable”
We were looking forward to staying in a hotel after a month of staying in budget guest houses.. But this place was rubbish! The bed was the most uncomfortable I've tried, the bathroom smelled like stale urine, there was 1 small towel for 2 people, there was cigarette smoke drifting into the room from the neighbouring room and we could hear EVERYTHING that went on in the room next door (worst of all, the bathroom noises). Wifi kept dropping out. Good location though!

Comfortable, but be careful. ”
I had a room downgrade due to non functioning equipment, but the replacement was fine. The apparent manager seemed to be putting me into a peculiar financial arrangement about a hired motorcycle, that might have been to her benefit at my expense. I am not sure. So be careful. There would be better value elsewhere.

Nice central hotel near marked”
Very good, recommend Cafe Retro and Pho soup at marked. Reception spoke almost no English.

Avoid”
Positives: huge TV with great cable, close to cinema/supermarket, well stocked mini bar. Negatives: We arrived late from the train station, around 10:30pm, and were checked in by staff who spoke zero english. About an hour later, reception phoned, claiming we hadnt paid and asking us to come downstairs. We managed to find our agoda.com booking and payment confirmation in their emails, which solved the issue, however staff were not at all apologetic about having phoned us at almost midnight. The shower handle was broken, meaning water only flowed when you held up the handle - not that there was any hot water anyway. The bathroom was dirty, but that didn't compare to the strong stench of cigarettes that dominated the room. The one blanket provided was damp and smelly, accompanying a bed that was rock hard. The room did not have a remote for the air con - we did manage to sort this with staff despite the language difficulty. The strangest part of the trip was on our second day, when we asked the receptionist to place a bag containing our passports and about $100USD in the safe. We received a phone call at about 8pm and some exclamations of "money, money, money" in English... so headed down to reception - who claimed not to have phoned. At 10:30pm we received another phone call along the same lines, and told them we would deal with the issue in the morning. At 11pm a housekeeper knocked on our door, barged into the room and herded us down to reception, where the receptionist angrily handed us back our passports and cash, as though we had asked her to store cocaine at the reception desk. I am still unsure exactly what the issue was, but the multitude of late night phone calls, and general rudeness of the staff made for a fairly unpleasant trip. Would not recommend.

Not too bad for the price”
Not alot to say about this hotel. No problems with our stay, staff don't speak English well at all but still friendly. Location is down a small very dark back street but seemed very safe. Close to the big square with the statue. No food at the hotel but there is a small local cafe next door, although no English spoken or menu so ordering might be hard. No complaints for the momey

Although the hotel is not new, all facilities are still in good condition. Room is large and clean, free wifi in room. Staff is helpful. In general, everything was OK at this price.
