Booked a room at the apollo hotel for a week and had no complaints. The family than ran the hotel (they did everything! clean, check in/out, breakfast) was super nice. The breakfast was a excellent value, I'd have the full english every morning and wouldn't need to eat the rest of the day haha! Rooms are small, which is the norm for europe but could be surprising for people from north america. I don't think there is a/c besides room fans, so it might not be the best to visit in the summer if it is really hot, but my understanding is that it doesn't get that hot in London. The location is super easy to reach via the kings cross/st pancras rail station just 5 min walk down the street. If you are traveling into london via gatwick airport, which is only about 1/5 hours away, this hotel is super easy to reach! Next time I come to london I will def try to book here.

Good Location”
It was close to Kings Cross and St Pancras Station. Had to walk up 2 level to the room with huge luggage, walk-up staircase is a little too narrow. Recommended for backpackers. Room is quiet small but no complains about that as bed is comfortable and toilet is newly renovated. Breakfast was awesome as they cook on the spot for you, unlike buffet style where food turns cold quickly. For the price paid for this hotel I think is acceptable. No complains, good breakfast, good bed, good location, great shower, what else can I ask for?

3 mins walk to st Pancras/ king cross. Really convenient. Room is really basic. Breakfast included but we did not have them due to our early flight. Points to note: 1) Room is really tiny. We struggled to open our luggage. Kind of like Japanese rooms and toilets. 2) No air-conditioning. Might need to consider this if you are going to stay in the summer. 3) no elevators. We had to carry our super heavy suitcases up 3 floors but a male staff was kind enough to help us carry them up but when we checked out we had to bring them down ourselves since it’s very early in the morning and we didn’t want to bother the staff.

Perfect little spot”
Loved our stay at the Apollo. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a good stay and the room was just what we needed. London is an expensive city to stay in, and the Apollo had excellent value for money. The breakfast was delicious (best coffee I had on my trip, which included stops in France and Italy)! The hotel is small/cozy, clean and very well located near St. Pancras. Would definitely stay again!

Hotel is located close to Kings Cross station. the room is a little small, but it is complete with all the necessities (iron, iron board, coffee tea, kettle, etc.) you need for a comfortable stay. comfortable bed and room is well kept. do note that there's no lift as this is an old building. travel light if you plan to stay here.

The only flaw was there was no one to help with the heavy luggage when were checking out. On the overall the location of this hotel is very convenient as it's just a 5 minute walking distance to the King Cross and St. Pancras station

Ideal for a short stay in London”
The hotel is in an excellent location near to Kings Croos St Pancras and Euston. The rooms are small and clean and the beds comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful allowing us to leave our luggage on the day we left. The breakfast is good with plenty of choice. We would visit again.

this is the second time i have stayed at this hotel. as i caught the eurostar from paris to london it was perfectly placed because it is just across the road from st pancras. this time, my room was larger which was a pleasant surprise, but admittedly for 2 people it would be a snug fit, but definitely manageable - this is central london you've got to remember. it is close to many buses and the tube which is also great. the breakfast is served in a cosy dining area next to the kitchen, where your english breakfast is cooked to your command. the food was copious and freshly cooked which was refreshing. the hotel has a friendly family feel to it as it is a husband and wife who run the hotel. my only real problem is with the steep narrow stairs and lack of a lift to get the rooms and dining area - this could be a problem for older people especially carrying their luggage up and down so many steps. other than that, it's a great budget hotel. i will defintiely go back there.

Neat hotel for short trip ”
I stayed for 1 night on a business trip to London. Close to major train stations and tube (KingsCross / St Pancras). Very neat and tidy, the rooms can be small but this is normal for this part of London. The service people were very friendly and helpful with document printing. Fast internet in all rooms is included. Breakfast was OK. I definately recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean and quiet room in on of the most interesting parts of Lodon. Location and price worth it.

it's wonderful & great location which just only 2 mins walk to underground and really convenient to go every where. room is cozy & clean. traditional english breakfast is quite big portion to asian but it's really so yummy. i can't find any bad comments about apollo hotel and i must choose apollo hotel again when i go to london next time.

Cozy and priced right”
I don’t like to say you get what you pay for, because there are things that hard to place a value on. The Apollo was clean, basic, priced right, and super convenient if your connecting to eurorail. The beds were ok, and the breakfast was very good. For the money, staying one night was just right. What set it apart for us was the couple (and young son) running the place. They were very friendly and helpful, and you felt like you might be staying overnight at your cousins, you know, the one you’ve met a few times but don’t really know, but it’s ok to ask to stay the night. You can’t put a price on that.

Exceptional”
The Apollo is in a fantastic location for major transportation hubs yet still on a lovely quite residential street. It’s a family owned/run business which provides a great place to stay for a good price., We had an excellent breakfast- a full English - plus there was fruits, muffins cereal, juice etc on offer. All this was delivered a smile and a nothing is too much trouble attitude. We will definitely return .

Great location though room on the small side ”
We chose this hotel because of its location near the International St Pancras Station. It was also very convenient for getting to the Metro for our 4 sightseeing days in London. We had many restaurants to choose from nearby, also there was a laundrette nearby as well. Service was family-flavoured, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was provided in a pleasant breakfast room with light decor and was very well catered for - choice of continental or full English breakfast.We were on the 3rd floor, which gave us some difficulty as the stairs were many and narrow and we needed assistance with our luggage. The room was clean but small for a 5 night stay and we had to improvise - maybe a couple of shelves would have helped.

Nice staff, a very good location next to King's Cross station. Steep stairs with no elevator so not good if you have heavy bags. Came with a hot cooked English breakfast which was very good. Worth the cost. The room was small but cozy. The internet didn't work very well on the 3rd floor but it was sufficient.

Perfect location. Staff are very friendly and hospitable. Rooms are clean tidy and very cozy. Do not expect a big room, however what you get you cannot complain for the price and convenient location. Fresh cooked breakfast after a night on the tiles was very tasty and welcome indeed. Will use again as a base for future nights out in London

The staff were kind and provided an excellent breakfast. Our room was cozy and quite small, as are any of the rooms in London. The room was adequately clean and cleaned daily. Only on the last day did we realize a bit of mess all around the room. Not a big deal, and overall, we would recommend it

I was very pleased with my decision to stay at this hotel. The staff are very friendly and informative. We were able to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out with them, which allowed us to take in more of London. The only drawback was that there is no lift and we had a room on the top floor, a bit of a challenge for us older folk, but I would whole-heartedly recommend this hotel despite this.

This hotel has very good location, beside the King's Cross station. You can find HSBC ATM near the hotel and enjoy nice British Breakfast. However, free wifi internet signal is not so powerful...
