Great place to relax after travel etc”
We had a very relaxed & peaceful weeks stay at Aqua Landia. The place was just what we wanted with a spacious, clean & well maintained room. The staff & manager are very friendly people & they made us very welcome. The garden area around the pool is well maintained. Access to transport is very easy - the main road is 25 metres from the resort entrance & you are about 30 minutes from Dumaguete city by Jeepney/Ceres bus. Dumaguete city itself is a pretty low key city that's dirty & noisy with poor accommodation options ....get away from the smoke & head down to Masaplod/Dauin. Highly recommended.

Perfect ”
Being a frequent traveller to Philippines I must say Aqua landia really stands out. It is a very nice American run resort located in Dauin. Staff will serve your wishes well and the manager is awesome arranging trips as snorkeling and diving upon your request and convenience. You live in one of the spacious huts with hot shower, aircon as well as a small kitchen with minibar and coffe maker. If u would like to watch tv in paradise they have flat screens in every room to. Awesome food everyday and they have a nice swimming pool just next to the bar. I think this is thee choice going to dumaugete / Dauin.

Great place to relax but a bit far from town. ”
Pros: Clean comfortable rooms, very helpful smiling staff, especially the delightful Baby. Great food (must try their sizzling spicy seafood dish). Nice clean pool where you can swim up to the bar for a cool drink. The hotel can organize your trip to Apo Island for diving. Cons: The only negative is the distance from Dumaguete town (about 15km) but the bus will drop you right at the door. But I will go back next year. Very happy with Aqua-landia.

A good value in Dauin”
While not directly on the beach this property features beach access. The rooms were decent in size, clean, and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was better than I expected with the included breakfast being a nice bonus. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall it's an excellent value in Dauin.

Loved the swim-up bar and the excellent food.”
We has a blast! This resort is centrally located near to several of the famous dive sites. you can go north to the marine reserve, across to Siquijor Island or south to Apo Island. The staff was very friendly and well trained and the food was superb. The rooms were clean and the prices were great. Next time we will stay longer. so we can do more diving and site seeing.

Not what we expected. ”
Our stay in Aqua-Landia was a little bit different than we expected. It is not really a resort, more like a few rooms built around a swimming pool / bar / restaurant. The room is very big and clean, with a relaxing Area on the porch which is really nice. The shower in the room has almost no water. The big disadvantage is that the bar / restaurant closes at 8pm. So no water, drinks or food after 8. And they charge for everything. We booked the place with breakfast included, but the included breakfast is only one choice you can make on a menu, and that is it. If you’re not full after, you have to pay (even for single pieces of Bread).

hi lise. in our restaurant is all the time somebody around. if you like late dinner we can arrange this very easy ( i will tell our cook ,so we are also ready to serve late). all our guests like our breakfast ( what is for free!!!!). you can choice 6 different kind of breakfast from our menu !! because the water in the shower room: this happen only 1 hour , one pipeline was licking and we repair it. have a nice day and regards from aqualandia -team

Nice and quiet atmosphere with short walk to beach.Its good to have expat owned hotel so there is good comunication. the help was great and very friendly.Loved the swim up bar!Just a great place to stay.The beds were good and the rooms were clean.

Super nice manager in a lovely resort”
We stayed there for a week. The manager and his wife were super friendly and helpful.there were lots of activities from the resort. The bungalow was lovely and clean. The food was not too inspiring but not bad. Worst part was that the neighboring lot was packed with roosters that crowed all night. Supposedly they will move away soon. In general we can recommend the place.

I would have given more stars but there were a few issues. My car was scratched from the front to rear, down to the bare metal in places. The parking is extremely limited & tricycles were taking up the spaces when we arrived, it was one of these that caused the damage I think. I reported it but no one has bothered to reply. The waitress at breakfast was quite rude. The salt & peppers were all empty & one didn’t even have a bottom lid so it could NEVER be filled. The waitress still left it out every day regardless. That’s the way things are here:( The room was very spacious but unfortunately too big for the ancient aircon unit. The place is generally in need of up grading. TV must have been over twenty years old. Mugs for coffee would be better than tiny tea cups & saucers. Food was ok if a bit over priced & bland. My fried/sautéed potatoes were raw. On the plus side they let us check in an hour early, the maids were very cheerful & welcoming, the pool & garden is lovely. We only st

A very quiet stay in peaceful surroundings.”
It was a lot quieter and more isolated than I anticipated. This small resort comprising 10 or so semi-detached cottages, closes in the early evening with just a patrolling security guard. There are no accessible beaches, nearby shops, restaurants or nightlife. Access to the centre of Dumaguete (15km) is via a sort walk to the main road and an unscheduled bus service which runs about every 15mins.

qiet and very tranquil location”
It was good and relaxing hotel, very quiet, great rooms modern and fresh, great location excellent value for money, overall a good stay, only constructive criticism for the owner as I know his absence on our stay was a one off, the staff left in charge had very little or no English skills, but our stay was still perfect and the staff were friendly polite and lots of comforting smiles, also a very safe environment

Our stay was very pleasant. The staff were friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. The room was large and clean, and well laid out, with a large bathroom. The pool and gardens were in good condition. Our only complaint during the stay was that the water pressure was too low for a hot shower. However, when this was brought to the attention of the manager, it was promptly rectified. So, in the end, no complaints! The beach was within easy walking distance, but was not the most inviting I have seen. But that is not the fault of Aqualandia, of course. Overall, we would be very happy to return to Aqualandia.

Great peaceful place”
It was a great place to stay, very peaceful, calm and quiet, except in the morning when the roosters start up. But I have heard roosters almost everywhere I stay on PI islands, they are part of the culture... The pool is fantastic and clean with a great swim up side and comfy dinning area. The grounds are beautiful and the hammocks I love. We would have stayed longer but they were booked. Will go back again for 10 to 12 days to decompress. Some of the food could use a little help and the mattress on the bed needs a few more inches. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable and the staff asked daily if we wanted it cleaned or needed anything.

Good Ambiance”
The ambiance was really good and the room was big enough to accommodate 4 person in 1 room. The staff were friendly and the foods served were delicious. We stayed there for 3 nights but they did not clean the room- I'm not sure if it's by request. Please put a note that the coffee is not for free :) because we thought it's a complimentary coffee. But still the over all experience was good
