We live in Hornchurch Essex and went to Hove Dog racing for the evening, had a great time with our family, one couple live in Brighton and the others Live in Blackheath we stayed in the Best Western Princes Hotel for the night, the room was very spacious, the beds were great, Bath room was spotless and the TV was perfect. Breakfast and staff were A1. Would book again

Great hotel couldn’t do enough for us. ”
Arrived soaking wet due to a storm and they sorted us a room much earlier than we were supposed to check in. They also provided us with a lovely hot pot of coffee and biscuits.

Weekend catch-up ”
The hotel staff were really welcoming and friendly. I had phoned the day before to check with them about the rooms to ensure our son was close to us, warn that some of the group maybe arriving early and check about parking and they were great and emailed me confirmation within a couple of hours. Everyone from reception, bar staff, cleaners were cheerful. For lunch one of the group wanted food that was not on the menu but the kitchen were more than happy to oblige, I found that amazing. Room was a good size with a great view and comfortable however in the rush to get the room ready the maid forgot to clean the bath which we only noticed when we went to use it. The rest of the room was fine and so early in the morning we did it ourselves. Would go back again.

Just what was needed”
A clean, comfortable, nicely decorated (looks like this 60’s type hotel has had a makeover recently) hotel located perfectly for Hove beach & Brighton facilities.

Nothing really wrong with this hotel a bit overpriced but it is Brighton and Hove prices. I have one complaint the doors are too heavy and we're constantly banged.

Great location for beach”
Seaview room very comfy. Great breakfast but bank holidays and weekends starts at 8am which is late for early check out. Restaurant finishes quite early too. Nice staff and very nice and bright communal hallways and landings

Good place. Free parking. The room is clean. The lighting is bright enough. The staff are nice. Will come again.

The room is quite big and good to have free on site parking. It’s great overall just that I mentioned when I made the booking m, saying please confirm that the duvet cover/pillow cases/bed sheets are clean without holes or stains, but eventually I still found holes and stains on different area, like the stains on pillow cases/chairs, holes on duvet cover or bed.

Pleasantly situated hotel with good amenities. No Aircon and noise from traffic from busy road will hinder sleeping. Overpriced but enjoyable stay

The hotel was clean and rooms were a good size and comfortable. Easy walk into centre of Brighton and public transportation. I would have rated this hotel higher, but I felt the hotel could do with some updating
