Excellent experience ”
What a lovely stau we had. Staff were very polite and helpful. They accommodated our each and every need. Breakfast was wonderful. Pool facilities great. Very kind staff at the pool site. Parking has a charge but not very high. Rooms were comfy.

Not super impressed”
It seemed like the hotel facilities were quite dated - old and shabby. Finding an earring, a large case of air pods under the bed, and mostly empty bottle of shampoo did not inspire a great deal of confidence in the attentiveness/thoroughness of the staff cleaning the rooms. We were unlucky to find ourselves in a room where the heater was broken - it was sweltering. The children had a hard time going to sleep and by the time we were told we'd have to switch rooms to have the heating sorted, it was way too late. So, we had to pack everything up the next day and move. The hotel front desk staff were very nice and apologetic for the experience we had - they even reversed our parking charges for the other inconveniences.

Great staff, facilities and food. ”
We stayed one night. We used the pool and jacuzzi which was quiet and very enjoyable. Children were allowed in from 6am till 8pm which was a bonus for us as we checked in late. We had the breakfast buffet which had lots of different food options.. Sausage, egg, bacon, beans, mushrooms etc cereals, croissants, muffins, fruit. So plenty of options. The staff were very pleasant, helpful and easy to approach. Check in was quick, done within minutes. Also easy to check out. Our room was nice with big comfortable beds and a nice bathroom with a very good shower head and large bath tub. We paid for the cheapest room really as we were only passing through for the night so I can imagine the more expensive rooms are better although that was good enough for us. The area itself was not great but we did find a few nice places to eat dinner 10 minutes walk away. Only down fall was the windows being unable to open due to it being an old building. That is my only complaint. All in all great hotel.

Watch for £13 added every night for parking ! ”
Hotel itself is older style, room was big and bathroom also, shower very good powerful and hot, wifi good, comfy bed, found the heating system slow to respond and get some heat in the room, noisy banging doors with the self close system will disturb you. Suited my needs for a onenight stop over, however I thought the £13 a night for car parking onsite was a cheeky extra, open car park with only camera security, for that reason I would not stay again. Also need some plug sockets near the bed so people can charge mobiles etc.
