Rooms were very nice, complimentary Gin and Sherry was a nice touch! Service in the bar was terrible, asked one of the waitresses about one of the happy hour specials to which she responded it was not on anymore. Even though it was clearly written on the board above the bar. Manager rectified this kindly. Spa was also incredible as it was underground. Overall enjoyed my stay and I will be back!

Great location”

The room is clean and tidy, and faces the sea front. The window can't be closed tight, and the wind blows in; it does not bother too much though. The wall cannot extinguish noises from the other rooms, however. There is no loud bar music during my stay, which makes a good sleep possible.

Make sure you have ear plugs !!! Break Away/Present ”

The hotel was lovely. Very vibrant, classy and has huge potential. The staff were excellent and very attentive/informative. We dropped our bags off early and when we checked in they were in the room waiting for us. The little details they were excellent in dealing with. Our room was lovely but just had so many cracks, paint peeling off the wall and marks around the room. Understand general wear and tear but this was in numerous places in the room. The mini bar was not fully stocked and whomever else before us had drunk some of the alcohol and placed it back in the fridge empty. I raised this with the hotel and they were apologetic. The spa was the best spa I have ever been to soo relaxing!!! However there was a group of kids in the main pool with there father who made it unpleasant, they were playing games, shouting, jumping around and not being considerate to others in the spa. BRING EAR PLUGS IF AT THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING!!! THE NOISE FROM THE CLUBS AT KICK OUT TIME IS ALOT.

Lovely Hotel and Staff”

Definitely recommend this hotel. We stayed here for New Year and it was absolutely fab. The staff could not be more helpful, polite with a totally 'can do' attitude. The spa facilities are lovely, the breakfast was cooked to order, great menu , great choice. Our room was lovely, the complimentary Gin was a very welcome little extra touch. The bed was comfy, huge and high. Felt like royalty. Will definitely be returning to this hotel and Brighton itself is a must see town and can't wait to return.

Really nice modern hotel with great facilities and a boutique feel ”

I wanted to stay in Brighton with my daughter after going to a concert. After online searches, this was closest to the Brighton Centre being on the seafront. Just a short walk to shops, pier and the Lanes. The staff were all very friendly and we were particularly impressed by the decor - modern but also very cosy. I chose a room with a sea glimpse which was absolutely fine - we could see the sea, West Pier and the i360. The bed was very comfortable and large and the room had everything you needed.... and more. I particularly liked the complimentary sherry! The breakfast was a bit expensive but really good - there are also plenty of cafes nearby. I gave a 10/10 at the end of our stay and the only thing I wasn't keen on was the scent when we entered the foyer and corridors - it's probably a pumped scent, but it's quite overbearing. Highly recommended and I would visit again.

Desperate need for improvement ”

The good: lovely design, right on the sea front with great views (from sea view room), relatively specious rooms. The bad: our room was very noisy, the hotel is located right next to three clubs so on the weekend there are drunk people shouting pretty much all night. The room we stayed in had no aircon, which you would think would be fine in October but the room felt like a sauna! We couldn't keep the windows open due to the noise from the road and the clubs below and the radiator in the bathroom was on full blast, which you couldn't turn off. It was impossible to sleep in the room. The ugly: after a terrible first night, we've asked to be moved to a room with aircon but the room we were offered had bank beds so we politely declined. Instead we asked if we can get a fan. Unfortunately, the fan arrived in hour with about 15 years worth of dust covering it. It was truly disgusting however, not overly surprising as the room itself wasn't very clean. The bed was coverd with cushions which were covered in hair. The sink in the bathroom was also full of smudges. To try and have a positive end to a disappointing stay, we booked a massage in the hotel spa. Unfortunately, it was far from relaxing. Being based in the basement, the spa was also ridiculously hot. Furthermore, it was insanely loud. While getting a relaxing massage all you can hear is loud banging noises and furniture moving.

Lovely hotel could be cleaner ”

Lovely stylish and modern hotel and spa. The spa was definitely worth a visit with hot tubs etc. Hotel room was lovely and modern bed was so comfortable also free gin and sherry which was nice the only thing that could have been improved was the cleaning. Dusty sides , food wrapers under furniture only found that out due to my bank card slipping down the side , big clump of hair in the drain of the shower and also drink marks down the wall

Brilliant stay in a prime location on seafront ”

A lovely hotel with a nice & clean interior and a brilliant location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and were greeted by a lovely receptionist who was very helpful and attentive. We had booked a superior sea view which was so nice! The bed was huge and view was amazing, as luckily we had booked a great day weather wise! Bathroom was nice, albeit a little on the small size, but that didn’t bother us too much (shower only, no bath.) Complimentary gin and sherry in room which was a nice touch. Spa was really good and quiet. A nice set up with it being underground and downstairs into ‘the cellar’ which was unique. Nice and dark, with big lanterns - very relaxing & peaceful. Couldn’t comment on dinner as didn’t eat there. Breakfast was ok - it seems you have to go early to get first dibs, as a lot of continental selections were empty. Felt the staff could have checked on this more often (fruit juice canisters were also empty). All in all though, really enjoyed our stay and will return!

Nice hotel amazing spa, fantastic staff but breakfast poor”

We stoped here last weekend great Hotel with nice rooms that are comfortable and very posh. Rooms are quite as well. We stoped on the festival weekend which was quite noisy everywhere in Brighton, not knowing it was on. The Spa is amazing it’s so cool and quirky very romantic as well. Staff perfect . Hotel Very Good . But the only thing that lets this hotel down is the poor breakfast. Watery poached eggs, uncooked sausage., and the second day we got Tiny Rations. The continental breakfast buffy is Thrown together with no thought and not much choose from. A lot of product stale like the banana bread, not enough fruit and it does not look pretty to look at. This hotel would be perfect if they sorted food issue out.

Lovely hotel, a little noisy one night outside and the windows didn’t seem to hold anything back. Everything else was great! Just be careful if you drive and use the Russel road NCP as recommended by the hotel, even with their discount 2 nights cost over £50! When we visit again we’ll definitely try a different car park

Ask for a quiet room ”

Lovely hotel. Lovely room. But on a Saturday night in Brighton - way too much noise outside. The room was opposite the entrance to another hotel so it was noisy and the bin lorry arrived on a Sunday morning at 7.15am. Also I'm in the UK yet my booking with Agoda was charged in US dollars & my bank added charges on top. An experience I won't be repeating

Smart seafront hotel”

Leaving aside the fact that check in is at 3, we arrived at 4 and didn't get into our room til 5 (this did not make a good impression) the staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. Tha restaurant's food was good but service rather slow. Breakfast excellent. Spa facilities very good. Recently modernised rooms - standard rooms can be very small and avoid a back riom if you can as they overlook the bins and a hostel which has noisy people coming and going all night. Seafront rooms are very nice.

Excellent Hotel!”

The hotel is in a fantastic location. The staff were super-friendly and helpful and accommodated an early breakfast on the Sunday morning. The only downside was the street noise but it was a Saturday night and my room was only on the second floor. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Great Christmas get away ”

My partner and I stayed here for a week over Christmas. It was the best hotel we've stayed in and to be honest we wanted to stay here for so much longer. The staff were so lovely and happy to help with anything. The breakfast spread was perfect with fruits and home made granola. There was also a hot breakfast menu available - both options were amazing. We didn't have any spa treatments but I wish we had. I loved how they used luxury shower products from The White Company (as most of the time you get generic products). The only thing I would have loved was a bath. But obviously no fault of the hotel. When we come back to Brighton or if anyone we know is travelling there we will 100% recommend anyone to stay here.

Weekend stay”

Lovely big room with nice sea views. Bar and restaurant also decent. Fairly recently refurbished. Bath in the room was novel, but shame it wasn't in the raised bay, so that you could enjoy the view of the sea. Bed very comfy and complimentary gin and sherry also welcome.

ideal base in Brighton”

This was our second stay at this hotel. Both times we have booked a seafront double room which have great views of the sea. This stay the reception upgraded us to a family suite which is bigger and has an extra bed. The staff are really nice and this hotel is a perfect location for everything we wanted to do....bars, restaurants, casino, shopping, site seeing. I am sure we will stay here again when we return later in the year.

Short Stay”

Overall good. The location was good and the room adequate, with a nice sea view. The shower needs updating and the TV was on the small side; not major issues though. Breakfast was good apart from the coffee from the flask which was awful as it has been there too long. Would stay again.

Perfect Location”

We were only there for one night but it was an awesome spot to wake up to the views of brighton beach, The hotel had great soundproofing so no street noise! Fast and effiecient service and great dealing with our late check out and room requests. I would recommend this hotel for sure!

A good short stay in a centrally located hotel.”

Everything was good. The parking is a little far away if you have young children but the staff is courteous and the parking is indeed discounted. The breakfast is basic but its good. Gets the job done. I would have liked it if the hotel was somewhat cheaper but a good experience nevertheless.
