Delightful B&B”

Great B&B close to town - 10-15 minute walk. Public areas and room were very clean and airy. Coffee and tea available in room along with a sweet treat each day. Breakfast was wonderful with several delicious selections. Tony was a great host and provided tips and suggestions for visiting Bath. Even provided a rewards token that could be used at selected shops and venues. Highly recommend!

Helpful host always ready to go the extra mile . Chestnuts was so clean and welcoming. Extra little touches like fresh milk and little cakes left in the room . Light and airy breakfast room and exceptional breakfast served. Could not have been better. Will definitely love to stay again.

Well appointed rooms, Accommodating Hosts”

My memories of Chestnut House include the excellent breakfasts, a location convenient for the circle walks we wished to do (convenient enough to walk downtown but off the main thoroughfares), and comfortable rooms. Host Tony and other staff were considerate and remembered our group’s dietary needs without fail or fuss.

Chestnut House is in an ideal location with free parking. Spacious room with lovely White Company products. Host friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was cleanly cooked and delicious. Definitely be back.

Excellent breakfast with a good choice and lots of attention to detail. Very minor issue (not a complaint) the bathroom towel warmer was super hot and very close to the door so had to be careful when entering.

The house and welcome from the owner were wonderful, my friend and I were made to feel as though we had visited their home. Bedrooms very comfortable, great choice for breakfast, overall would recommend this B & B to anyone.

Superb care for every need”

The attentiveness and kindness of the owner could not have been greater. I felt so well looked-after. The room was lovely with everything I needed, bathroom very modern with all the little touches. Breakfast was perfectly cooked to my request in a room overlooking a charming garden. I could get to the best sights in town in just a few minutes by walking through a charming park. The wifi was great and again, the staff was super-kind. I'll be back for sure!

Our stay was great in Chestnuts House. The environment and the decoration of the hotel was excellent. The staff was attentive and friendly. The breakfast was the too great that even better than those of many international hotels. In general, we were highly satisfied with Chestnuts House and we highly recommended it to others.

A charming hotel that is top notch in every way!”

We were pleasantly surprised that this 5 star property had won so many awards and we now know it deserves all the awards and more. Check in was a breeze and we were made to feel at home with cakes and tea brought to our room as we settled in. Tony provided us with all the neccessary information on the sights and dining options in the city center. This 5 room property is excellent and close to the city center. A park around the corner and its location in a quiet street makes it a perfect base. Parking is available in front of the hotel. Breakfast was better than any 5 star internationl chain hotel and served in a bright airy room with a view of the garden. We did not feel as if we were staying in a hotel but in a friend's home and this was the most comfortable and wonderful stay we had.

Great guest house”

Chestnuts provides great accomodation experience in Bath. It locates 5-10 minutes walk away from the town centre. Breakfast is excellent, especially the yoghurt is the best we had in our trip. We definitely recommend it.
