Great Location - boiling hot”
Room great size, clean and bathroom and option of products great. Disappointed no fridge or water available. Team were great in providing me a bottle of iced tap water as the room was very hot. Unable to open outer windows and a/c unit didn't bring the temperature down sufficiently despite leaving it on most of the evening to try and cool the room. I was in a group of 4 for business - all found the temperature too hot. I would stay again, but ask as the others had for fans.

Good service, good breakfast, good location. But.. Very outdated rooms. Wall to wall rugs.. Worn down, needs upgrade, but friendly staff is a plus.

Great service but the hotel needs to provide drinking water! No mini bar. No bottle water in room. Call them for water and they tell you it's chargeable... What?? Otherwise its all good

The entrance was fairly impressive, the room was average. I was expecting a little more from a Mariott. Sadly there were no slippers and gown, the mini bar was unavailable and there was no complimentary water. When we called down to ask for free water or something from the bar, the only thing they had was a couple of soft drinks and water which had to be paid for, although it was after hours. Sadly I felt that the room was a little bit older and tacky. I didn’t get the feel of a fresh, modern, slightly higher end hotel which I thought I could expect from Mariott, perhaps I was wrong to expect it. It wasn’t too bad, just a bit average. I certainly wouldn’t give it 4 stars, 3 stars would be more appropriate. In my humble opinion, improvement is required. I would prefer Hilton or something.

Clean and tidy room, good breakfast and helpful staff. Car parking charge was reasonable for a city hotel too (£10)

Good Location ”
Near to shopping district and close to car rental. Although it’s a bit noisy cuz of the ongoing construction work. We stayed in a room for 4 but only 2 sets of cups and I set of toiletries were given.

1st floor room was allocated only downside was the room was like an oven even when thermostat was turned off and the air con wasn’t working , had to sleep with the window slightly open downside was the wind noise as the first floor rooms to the front of the hotel seem to be in a wind tunnel plus the traffic noise , due to having to sleep with the window open so overall not a great nights sleep , if booked again would not stay on the first floor

Just what we needed”
The hotel was nice, clean, not super modern but was had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful with food recomendations which for us was great to try local excellent food. It was close to Hyrdo which we needed for a concert and walking distance to station which was good for further travel.

Friendly staff, a bit out of the centre”
I arrived into Glasgow Queen Street station and decided to walk to the hotel. It seemed a lot further than I'd thought, but luckily I didn't have much luggage. If you arrive by train go into Glasgow Central Station, it's nearer. The staff at this hotel are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very comfortably furnished and the facilities were what I'd expect from a Marriott. The only negative was the breakfast area - more akin to a fastfood area than a restaurant, but again the staff were very helpful and willing.

Good hotel for a short break”
This hotel was generally very nice, although the few negatives mean that I would probably look elsewhere if I were to stay in Glasgow again. The bed in particular was very uncomfortable, which is surprising for a Marriot hotel. However, the breakfast was fantastic and the location of the hotel was good if you like being within a taxi ride of most places of interest in the city but don't want to put up with the noise of a hotel that's right in the middle of the shopping or bar location

schöne zimmer,sehr geräumig,hell,relativ ruhig!sehr höfliche und freundliche angestellte am check-in schalter.minus:die bar:keine getränke nach mitternacht ohne zimmernachweis,schlecht sortierte whiskyauswahl und leicht überforderder barkeeper.frühstück:sehr vielfaltig, nette bedienung, durch buffet-sehr ausgibig.noch ein kleines minus: kein deutsch sprachiger tv sender in der hoteleigenen Programmauswahl.
