very pleased with my stay for one night.... smart and spacious room with nice toilet/shower..... excellent town centre location..... very polite staff..... and nice buffet breakfast..... very good value for money at £60 on a Friday night

Would stay again”
Lovely hotel, parking attached but pay for separately, rooms spotless. Myself & my best friend travelled for a concert in Arena Birmingham, it is about a five minutes easy walk & passes the canals & plenty of places to eat & drink. Beware of drinks prices in the hotel, extremely expensive!! Fab breakfast would definitely stay again

Nice hotel. Very clean and wonderful variety for breakfast. Water pipes a bit noisy at times. Within walking distance to city centre and near to Legoland and Sea Life. Cheaper parking at Five Ways.

Low-end Hilton in a busy location”
If you don't go in expecting a Hilton, you won't be too disappointed. Breakfasts were excellent (sometimes crowded), rooms were clean and simple (bathrobes, toothbrushes, water, etc., you'll have to buy). Expect noisy parties and noisome beggars on Friday-Saturday night. Easy walking distance from Five Ways train station with luggage, or Central Birmingham New Street (20 minutes) without luggage.

Breakfast gone downhill”
Booked well in advance so had a reasonable deal, but unfortunately the quality of the breakfast has got a lot worse. The basis of a decent breakfast is all in the sausage and the bacon and neither were acceptable. The sausage used to be decent but they have been downgraded to dog food standard and the bacon was cooked to an inedible level! Beans were ok though😃

Great location but……..”
The room was a bit tired with broken light switch and shower head. The soap dispensers also didn’t work. There was obviously something wrong with the plumbing as well due to the loud ‘fog horn’ noises throughout the night. I suspect that the hotel was suffering from staff shortages which probably compounded the problems.

The Reception area was extremely hot and understaffed. Only one lift ever seemed to be operating, leading to queues. Our room had an unpleasant smell, which we never managed to track down, and the AC was erratic. Breakfast was good, but the staff were very slow to replace several items which had run out. It was also extremely hot in the food area. Check out was ok, but again Reception was understaffed. The location was great tho, and we were able to leave our bags before the room was ready, and again before we left.

Plumbing needs rectifying, a super load noise when showering! Ripped curtains. I wouldn’t of been happy to pay full price to stay here.

Valentine weekend - Hampton hotel review”
We have used the hotel on numerous occasions. This particular weekend was very disappointing (stayed 2 nights): - We were given a disable person room. Queens room is a disable room? Was offered another room - too late after unpacking. - The shower/toilet area had a blocked drain. Flooded the whole area. Reported to Reception - Drain was unblocked during the day. - During the early hours of the morning (between 0400-0600 Hrs) we heard the heating / plumbing system at the back of the shower room making horrendous noises keeping us both awake. - Finally, breakfast for both days was a disaster. 3 coffee machines were broken. Waiting for hot water to make a drink took ages. Limited staff rushing around trying to accommodate everybody was painful. Felt sorry for 2 ladies trying keep everybody happy. The whole scenario was very hectic.

Got given a dirty room, found other customers underwear in the bathroom, when having by a shower it made a massive racket same as flushing the toilet. Beat part was checking out

We reported that the shower was not working They said they would come and fix . Never did . We mentioned it as we checked out. All they seemed to be interested in is if we had waffles for breakfast. I have never been to a hotel who doesn't fix showers .

If I could give 0 stars I would. Paid for this hotel and then I couldn’t end up going because we were going for 2 nights and u need to quarantine when u get over there so there was no point us going over. I emailed the hotel and they won’t get back to me

Everything is fine as a Hilton group hotel except the location and the a little too early check out time at 11am. Breakfast better than expected in terms of variety.

friend staff, good parking space with reasonable price. good choice for short stay with breakfast provided. also, there are many restaurants nearby.
