Best bathroom ever seen

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Bristol”

We spent 3 lovely nights here. The hotel had a lovely, relaxed feeling and the room and bathroom where nicely done. The location was wonderful, allowing us to easily explore what Bristol has to offer by foot. The river and harbour area is a short walk as is the centre of town which has plenty of places to eat and drink. Clifton village and suspension bridge is only a little further by foot, although is uphill ;)

Mediocre hotel masquerading as a luxury hotel. ”

This hotel is pretty expensive for what you actually receive. The staff were offhand to say the least. The reception and bar areas were grubby and the lift requires maintenance. My room was ok, a little gloomy, the bathroom looks great but the sink was pitted and the toilet was difficult to flush. A mix up with the booking meant that breakfast was not included, £16 for breakfast, you have to be kidding! There was nothing special about this hotel to warrant the cost of £258 for 2 nights.

Great bath and shower... rooms overlooking courtyard can get some noise. Unfortunately food at bistro wasn't great A especially the vegetarian options.

Only an overnight stay but we had a great room with a lovely bathroom which included a claw-footed bath :) Comfortable bar and good snacks for late-nite TV watching.

Elegant comfort”

The Hotel du Vin is within easy walking distance of the city centre, but you might not leave due to the beautiful building, excellent facilities and friendly, smart and knowledgeable staff! Great place for couples!

Too much noise from bar below rooms Hotel seemed more interested in special events than the pease and comfort of their guests

Nice stay”

it took a while to get used to the contrast between the cosy and welcoming interior of the hotel and the extreme urban location; next to a large roundabout and opposite a brutalist car park. the hotel is great - a very good experience. however, bristol as city feels disjointed - a lot of city planning still to do.

Excellent. Very helpfully staff in all areas, from front desk to sommelier. One technical point to raise with hotel is that the hot water was too hot and led perhaps to high noise form the hot water system, including from neighbouring rooms. The hot water was also cloudy. To signal to management.

Great value for money, unique, lots of character ”

Absolutely lovely, comfy bed, very clean. The website doesn't do the size of the rooms justice, I was worried that it might be too cosy, but there was a good amount of space. Bed was amazing, good coffee in the rooms. And the bath was my favourite, would 100% go back.

Bristol Boutique Chic ”

I found myself in Bristol celebrating my 20 year anniversary with my baby bear. London grammar gig at the O2 within walking distance. Amazing bar with bourbon choices to die for. Breakfasts I could eat twice over. Bathroom designed to spend hours soaking in the bath. Bristol lido was a revelation - jacuzzi rocked as much as the roasted lamb shoulder after. Climax was tasting the winter taster menu at casa Mia and having the brothers all to ourselves. Those mini broccoli tarts were sublime. Thanks for making our anniversary so delightful.
