Ideal for my needs, one night stay before flying out in morning, very near terminal 2 minute walk. All I needed was clean room and comfy bed which I was provided with, value for money and will use again. Very happy.

Excellent 3 Star Hotel ”

Great location, 5 minutes walking from the airport. And if you need to go to NEC can take monorail for free from the 2nd floor of the airport 4 star breakfast. The menu is very similar to the other 5 star hotels where I used to stay. The downstairs restaurant is also great especially when you are too tired to go out. Perfect after a long day at the show while you are still fighting jet-lag

Excellent hotel ”

Great hotel quick check in/check out very good/helpful staff. The room was well equipped clean and comfortable we had a great nights sleep there is a nice bar come restaurant on the ground floor to spend the evening in and then return the next morning for a good breakfast, and this is all within a 5 minute walk of the airport. Highly recommend this hotel

We came here for the NEC. Convenient for the airport and train to the city. The restaurant had the usual tasty but simple options. I'll stay here again.

Comfy beds in a pretty basic, no frills room.”

Initially confused as blue and red Ibis are in same building. Although arrived early and were told that check in was 2pm, we waited and were allowed to go to room early. Basic room. No frills. Limited tea and coffee, no alternative teas. Spaceship like bathroom, need to know your travelling partner as you can hear everything from in bathroom! Breakfast with room. Good selection and a gluten free guide too, excellent service with a smile. Great value for money. Dinner night before was limited for gluten free. Nice limited selection. We had 2 large suitcases and there was no room for them. Small single window overlooking a rubbish skip and back of buildings.

Nice place for Gentile Arena or Airport”

Nice hotel ideal location, my only complaint, no parking on site, you have to use the car parks 3 and 5, the fee is £39 for 24 hours, outrageous, however the hotel when you check out give you another ticket, you put both in and get 50% off the parking, beware anyone thinking of short stay, even more expensive. Hotel was good rooms were good, bar and food on site at a reasonable price, shame there is no on site parking, we went to a concert so it was good to get back and be able to eat and have a drink.

Arrived very manic to the reception. Ordering food and drink was chaotic walking back and forth to pay and to order taking food to the room was hard no condiments having to balance stuff. But it was clean the staff was helpful but way to overpriced for a place that's meant to be a budget.

I was transiting to guernsey from hongkong. Ibis was conveniently located, had clean rooms, at a good price. I wud stay here again in similar situation

There was no tea/coffee/herbal tea in my tray although I stayed 2 nights. I boiled water in the kettle and drank it . My mug was not washed and the tray not touched. In the bathroom, I hung up both my towel and bath mat after using then so I could reuse them the following day. When I returned from my conference, both towels were gone and there were no fresh towels. I had to ask at reception - the man wearing a red T shirt at reception was excellent

visit to the Genting Arena”

Perfect location for the Genting arena. We got the free mono rail from the station to the airport and walked across the road. Excellent. It was the same getting back from the Arena. We were probably back in the hotel while others were still queuing to get out the carpark.

Best thing is guests are allowed to bring beer into their own room. Multiple ibis hotel name but slightly different type of ibis.

Less than a five minute walk from the terminal building. Modern hotel with the facilities you would expect, eg free wi-fi in all areas, powerful shower and excellent bed furnishings/linen. Ideal choice when flying in/out of Birmingham.
