Great Hotel in Birmingham ”

Nice room. There is parking garage, but the charge is £12 a day. The hotel is near the train station and the Bullring shopping area. Many restaurants nearby. The hotel restaurant has a good variety of choices. Staff is very friendly.

Okay but noisy”

Decent enough for a short stay. Main problem was noise from neighbouring nightclub, until 3am! Very broken sleep. They actually leave ear plugs in the room for you! Otherwise, clean, nice staff and handy for the station.

Great hotel in central location at great price”

Was very impressed with this ibis. It is modern, funky with great bar/cafe reception area. It is in a great location thought on weekends can be a little noisy if you room looks down into the Arcadian centre, walking distance to Bullring and New Street Station. Room was cosy with good facilities and very clean.

Second time to visit less than a year ”

Bar and food is served 24hours, everything is within walking distance, nightclubs is literally 1 min walk to the left , shopping is 3 min walk, great spot defiantly recommend it .. only thing I would have to say is when I booked through agoda I used my card and forgot to bring it with me so I couldn't check in until I got someone to send me a picture back home of it so the details could be put through on the System as a deposit for the room, other than that had great time

Stayed here for the Noel Gallagher gig. Really modern clean and excellent value for money. Cool bar area. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location near to train station and shops and bars, that been said a tad noisy in the early hours with being in the centre and around nightlife but didn't bother us enough to put us off staying here next time!

Good stay, fantastic location with 2 mins walk to shopping mall and railway station. 10 seconds walk to China town, and surrounded by bars and restaurants. However, a bit noisy during weekend night but still acceptable.

nice hotel but noisy”

this hotel is clean and modern with good facilities. location is very good for chinese quarter and town centre. however the traffic noise was a problem as there is a nightclub over the road and taxis battle for business beeping horns all night, there were still people leaving the club as we checked out at 10.30 am sunday morning! if staying on a weekend request a room on other side of hotel

Cool hotel !!”

It is nice, clear and comfortable. I lived here for 25 days before I went back to my hometown. All staffs are very nice and friendly, Every fridays and saturdays in my room has a bit noisy from pubs around but it is alright.

Great hotel nothing was a problem to the staff”

what a find, this hotel is managed incredibly well, all the staff have a view "can do" attitude. based in the heart of birmingham city in the chinese district, all the shopping you can handle at the bull ring, i left my wife to shop while i attended business at the nec she was overwhelmed with the quality of shops and markets. dinner was a breeze, every style of food possible within 10 mins from hotel. i normally stay at a 4* 10 mins away but will return next opportunity. take the wife most shops are reduced costs against london south (earn brownie points)

Close to the Bull Ring shopping centre”

the hotel as such is good, good price/performance ratio. as pros i would regard very good location (3 minutes to bull ring shopping centre, 5 minutes to the train station "birmingham new sreet station", 7 minutes to the new street - all by walk) and a pleasant staff. the hotel is clean, no problem with it. anyway, negatives are poor breakfast (they're not rich) and closeness to some living small square with a long nightlife. also not spacious rooms and internet connection which did not work during my stay were limiting factors. nevertheless, i was satisfied and my general impression was good.

Location, Location, Location”

We stayed for 1 night whilst we visited the theatre, which was 3 minutes walk. A really nice Italian restaurant next door, great bars, shopping and other things to do. No parking, however the hotel stamped the parking ticket to give us a small discount. A simple and clean hotel.

Loved this hotel so fun and modern , Felt very safe with so many staff around and lovely atmosphere , so many options of things to do and eat whilst there great location , highly recommend !

Noisy Room”

My room facing the main road, the bar next to this hotel. The music and peoples noise from mid night 12am until 2am. Couldn't sleep well.

Small, warm and uncomfortable ”

Location excellent. Room quite small. We stayed on a hot summer day. I picked this hotel because it is advertised as having air conditioning in each room. This was not true. The room was extremely hot and uncomfortable. We had a fan, but it was only blowing hot air. Not impressed.

Standard ibis hotel”

We have check in into the room which one of the lights above the miror was spoilt,air-conditioner spoilt, hair dryer spoilt spoilt and shower cream were finish. It makes me wonder did they ever clean the room and make sure everything functioning well before allow new guest to check in. We only found out the air-conditioner and hair dryer was spoilt when we was about to take a shower after a day long walk in the city centre. I was upset and frustrated. A remark: they have a great and helpful staff who named Stefano help us to switch the room and solve the issues. Well done!

The worse hotel in the Birmingham!!!”

Ibis Birmingham charged me DOUBLE ROOM RATE of the original total room rate, which is different with the agreed price with Agoda. I tried to send email to Ibis Birmingham and Agoda, even I called the front desk of Ibis Birmingham, there is a staff told me that she can fix it and reply me by email within a day, so far I did not receive any news from both of the parties Ibis and Agoda. Case not settled and I am going to raise a dispute case from my bank side for further investigation. If you are going to book this hotel, pls consider carefully. The worse experience ever.

Noisy at night. ”

Hotel surrounded with eatery and chinese restaurant. Some of the restaurant have cheap lunch and dinner buffet. Short Walking distance to bullring shopping Center. Ibis hotel can be very noisy at night, there is a few pubs and clubs right next to the hotel. If you're a light sleeper, u might consider others hotel.

Good Location”

This a a good centrally located hotel. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Check-in was available from 12pm. Good secrurity on the door at night checking your name before allowing you in. On a negative note, there is no parking at the hotel. I used a small car park opposite which charged £ for 24 hours.
